Hi

Has anyone been to Fulton's Crab House (in DTD)? If so, any good? Worth it or over-priced for what you get? Would you recommend anything similar instead of it?

Thanks,
Boo

Always do Fulton's at least once a trip - great food and atmosphere - not cheap but well worth it for a special meal.

This has been on my list of must dos for years, we finally went last year and were really disappointed. The food was nice but nothing special, and we thought it was overpriced, but thats just our experience, others may have had a better time.

We went quite a few years ago. The clam chowder was good, but the surroundings were a little dissapointing. We wouldn't rush back!
I was looking at a few menus of other DTD restaurants, and Fultons Crab House seemed more expensive than the others, like Cap'n Jacks, Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood etc.. So it might be worth trying some of the others!

Fultons is a lot more upmarket than the others that you have mentioned, so it is more expensive. We've always had excellent food there, and it has a nice atmosphere.

Sarnia is correct, to compare Fulton's with Rainforest Cafe and Planet Hollywood (both very good in their own class) is bizarre, Fulton's is in the theme of an old riverboat and is very atmospheric, I usually have one of the lobster dishes when I dine there and it has always been excellent, the service is also top notch with knowledgable servers who can explain dishes without having to go and ask anyone else. More expensive than ordinary restaurants but well worth it for a special meal.
