Fulton crab house

ok. So this will be a first for us this trip!!! We are two adults, a 9 year old and a 6 year old. They are relatively adventurous waters and don't like typical kid fare(hotdogs, Mac and cheese and chicken nuggets)

Is this a good choice? Worth the out of pocket expense?

And how far in is it from the bus stop? How long should we allow to walk there?

So first - some background.... Sandy and I go to Fulton's EVERY TRIP, two trips a year, 12 years running. Just our personal opinion, others may disagree...

This is probably the best place at WDW for SHELLFISH. But I have to suggest something that isn't Fulton's specific . Shellfish has gotten REALLY expensive. You see, in essence, it's wild game (for the most part). Shellfish restaurants (not just Fulton's) TRY to mitigate this as best they can - the portions tend to go down in size. This would not impact your children - but the adults MIGHT want to up portion sizes a bit.

Now, Fulton's is better than most - they WILL allow you to get anything you like, through menu and off menu combinations. But I must warn - a very serious shellfish dinner at Fulton's COULD run a good $100 a head for a full grown adult. They are not greedy - it's just that shellfish has really gone up, over the years.

So - question 1? Just us, but we LOVE Fulton's.
Question 2 - bit of a walk if coming in at the Market Place. But it's not a killer . Give yourself 15 minutes, you'll be golden.

Oh - specific to you: Fulton's is a GREAT place for children 6 & 9. Like every Disney Area Restaurant, they GET that not everyone is 30+ . I think you'll have a wonderful time there .

We ended up at Fulton's on the last night of our last trip unplanned and we LOVED it!! Absolutely worth the OOP expense. My kids ate mac n cheese and spaghetti but there are lots of other choices on their children's menu. We were a party of 11 and everyone enjoyed their meal- no complaints!

We LOVE Fulton's Crab House, it is a must do for us. My whole family (including my 12 year old and 14 year old) are in love with the King Crab legs (they are the sweetest and most tastiest crab legs I have ever eaten). So to answer your question, yes I think it is definitely worth the OOP price. And as the PP already mentioned, you should give yourself about 15 minutes or so to walk from the bus stop to the restaurant. Have a great time...we will be dining there on our arrival day in 2 weeks .

We also love Fulton's as well. We ate there last week and as always, it was great. Yes, it is pricey but what at Disney is not? We always start out there for a few drinks, apps and their crab dip/spread they give out in the bar area.

I'm sure you know, just remember Fulton's is closing 1/1/2016 for refurbishments and is scheduled to reopen in early April 2016.

I like Fulton's. On our last trip that is where we had lunch on departure day and previously I have eaten there with a group of friends and we basically ordered all the appetizers and shared them.

It is right on the water and not too close to the bus stops if I remember correctly but I drove there the last few trips and am not sure what the bus stop situation is with all the construction.
