Fullerton Babysitting Agency

Has anyone ever used this? Our son is under the age for the group workshop at GCH and we would like a nice dinner one night there. We are hesitant about this and I said these people here on the boards would give their honest opinion about the situation. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I haven't heard of them, but I've never visited the parks with kids. Is that the company that works with the hotel? I've heard that they recommend one group that will come to your room and entertain the kids?

This is a bonded agency that works with the Disney Resort hotels (they may also work with other hotels). I have read about them in a few guide books (obssessive planning) and was just seeing if anyone else had used them. Our son will not be five, which is the min. age for the GCH group sitting available. Thanks again.

I used the babysitting services recommended by by GCH about 1 and 1/2 years ago. I'm thinking it was Sitters Unlimited, not Fullerton Agency. My experience was very good. My kids had a great time with the sitter and the next time we want back to GCH my son was disappointed when his "Disneyland babysitter" didn't show up to spend the evening with him.
My DSs were just under 2 years and 3 1/2 years at the time.

I am going to give Fullerton a call tomorrow and also the DLH to see who they are recommending. We don't mind paying the 4 hr minimum, but were leary about having anyone taking care of our son without prior comments or meeting them. First time parents and no one else could come with us on the trip. I would even try taking the sitter to the park for the day (have heard others who have done this) and then try to get the same person for the next evening. Thanks again for the info and additional threads.

It would be nice to see some more recent posts. These are all over four years old. Important for everyone out there to make sure the baby sitting agency they choose has their sitters "Trustlined" This is a law in California and is important for the safety of your children.

My SIL used Fullerton Child Care Agency. They watched a set of 4yo twins and a 7yo. The kids were very happy with the sitter. So was my SIL and brother, who are very picky about sitters.

Ended up booking a Fullerton Babysitter for next week. As foreigners what can I ask for from the babysitter or Fullerton directly to alleviate my wife's concerns being in a foreign country? References? Something more extensive?

They typically send you a bio and you can talk with their supervisor. We went through Destination Sitters. Got a grand mother vs. a young person. She'll have her hands full with four kids on Tuesday.

We used them this past Monday (20/10). Our sitter was Joanne. Thumbs up from us. Have any specific questions feel free to ask.

How much did they charge? Did you have to pay for their parking? We're staying at DLH, so I'm guessing we would somehow have to cover that cost as well. Thanks!

$64 for four hours and four kids. $14/hour after that. Didn't have to pay for parking or anything extra because the sitter lived walking distance from our hotel - Spinghill Suites Marriott.
