Okay so, for the past 9 months i have been entering 50-75 codes A DAY trying to get this sparrow costume and have yet to get it. I have thousands of the other items you could get from this plundering game but no sparrow. So I finally decided today that I am just going to try and trade/buy sparrow. Problem is, I'm not exactly sure what to offer. Does anyone know the round about total of credits that the FULL sparrow costume is worth? That way i know about how many items/credits to offer for an equal trade to both people. Thanks an advanced.

I found out from someone - can't remember who - that you can still play the game and win other rewards, but you can't get sparrow as a prize anymore.
Just thought I'd help with that part. I have no idea what it's worth.

Someone just said that they just received two sparrows from the game. Don't believe anything unless it's comes from staff. And sometimes that can even be suspect.

As for value, it varies from person to person. Some want just waaaaayyy too much, imo.

cteddiesgirl is correct. You can still get it in game.

The average cost of a sparrow suit in trade is 10 firewalls.

Thats been a pretty typical autowin for quite sometime now. Any site, not just this one.

oh ok, i guess i just never noticed.. lately ive stopped trading.

so im guessing firewalls are suppppppeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrr popular now?

When Aengus says 10 firewalls, that does not mean "just" firewalls. He means items that add up in value to equaling that of 10 firewalls.

And imo, firewalls have always been, as you put it, " suppppppeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrr" popular. :)

Yep. Firewalls have always been the most coveted item of all the pirate furniture.

Okay thanks for the information about the game, good to know that it is still giving sparrow codes. i just don't have any luck! How many credits would you price for one firewall? i'm trying to get a round about price to offer in credits (and value for added items) from the looks of things i'm guessing around 150-200k? sounds like alot but can be done. Does that sound right?

maybe its just me, but 150-200k per firewall seems almost ludicrous. i was under the impression, based on what people have wanted for fire walls when i have offered, that they are worth about 15-20k each.

1 firewall is generally thought to be valued amongst traders at around 20K.

So... Sparrow would be in the range you mention, yes.

See above. :)

yup i agree with Dreams, and maybe seagully meant 150-200k in total, not for individual fire.

Yes i was thinking that price for the total, either 10 firewalls or full sparrow. Thanks for all of your help, think i know about what to offer now. A little off topic here but I've got 8 five star magics - snowman, bat, storm, teleportation, treasure, confetti, levitation and fireworks- To me the magic (aside from snowman and kelloggs magic) are worth around 50k each, either because they are rare now or worth that much in shops. Do you think that 4 or 5 of these magic pins would be worth the costume? I'm not sure if they go down in value when combined or not. Again thanks for the advice.

While logically, this makes sense, it seems that people prefer actually recieving credits or fire walls. I know i would, even if it is same credit value, mainly because it is easier to trade and collect credits or fire walls than magic, since credits/fires value is relatively steady and in high demand. Just an opinion:)

EDIT
i would like to add that it really depends on the sellers wants and needs. also, it is really easy to offer fire walls, because even if the seller doesnt like them personally, they have such good trade value. If you were to trade for fire walls, you could trade them away any day. If you were to trade for say, rare pins or magic, it would be harder to trade them off later because you actually need to find someone looking for them.

I think so too, which gives me another idea of possibly just buying firewalls than trading those for the sparrow, but i don't want to be stuck with firewalls and not have anyone trade sparrow for them. What would be the ideal trade for me is to just do credits set up a quest for 150-200k and be done, but though I know they'll be getting credits its difficult to convince the trader that I am trustworthy to give the credits. I've heard other people talk about having another person (not involved in the trade) hold the item while the credits are being transfered. I think that may be the way to go but then that many credits is difficult to give up with all these random new items that keep getting released! may want to stick with just items... buying stuff in vmk is almost as complicated as the real world.

I recommend buying fire walls, because its easy to find people wanting them and you may find a better deal that requires less fire walls. you can also do the kind of long, but usually very worthwhile process of getting fire walls and trading them for items in high demand; i.e. green explorer, for as few fires as yu can and then tryng to trade that clothing piece for sparrow. green explorer shirt no vest is going for about 3 fires right now. also, if u buy fires, you could decide to get maybe just the shirt and pants and then use the other fires for different things that u want. fires in vmk are almost like real world dollars as you'll get.
