I read somewhere that Disney offers full size cribs instead of PNP's as an option. Does anyone know if they have the regular cribs at the Polynesian and how well they "fit" in the room? Are they more comfortable than the PNP's? DD will be 2 1/2 and I'm concerned that a pack n play may not be too comfortable for her so when I read about full size cribs - my EARS perked up! :rotfl2:

Any pix??

I've heard about full size WDW cribs, but also heard they were hard to come by - and not guaranteed. I rented from Orlando crib rentals and could not have been happier. They have actually upgraded the cribs from the picture shown on the website. It was a very nice, clean, white, full size crib. It was metal, not wood. They delivered and set up in a jiffy. ( It is apparently desigend for travel/hotel use.) We are using again in June and October. For the weekly rental (which is $70) they also include bedding (nice soft bumper and 2 sheets). Well worth it in my opinion.

We just got back from WDW on Wed. Our youngest is 2.5 yrs old and he slept in the pack n play for all 8 nights with no issues. He was so tired at night that he probably could have slept on a rock with no problems!

Have a great trip! :goodvibes

We rented from A babys best friend. They come with very clean, disney themed sheets and quilt, bumper, waterproof pad. They are simple to put together and my son slept great in it. It is so worth the extra money to know it is clean and waiting for us when we get there.

When we stayed at the GF in February I saw mousekeeping placing a real crib, not a pack 'n play, in one of the rooms. It was slightly smaller than a standard crib and the rungs were metal, not wood, but the mattress was a good 8 to 10 inches thick. It had crib sheets and a bumper.

I've no idea whether other GF rooms had pack 'n plays or cribs. We brought our own pack 'n play from home, so I never bothered to inquire. I don't know about the Poly.

Hi,
They do have cribs available but they can be hard to find. Some CMs will tell you that they only have pnps but with a little more searching they could find one. They are white with fixed sides with metal rungs. The sides are higher and rounded at the top. DS slept perfectly just like home. We brought our own sheet and breathable bumpers. If they insist they can't provide one ahead of your trip try calling back and speak with someone else. Otherwise, it may be worth the extra money to insure you will have a cozy place for your little one.

We had one at the GF back in Jan/Feb it was great much better than a P&P. Fitted in the room fine :)

I am asking for a friend - he is planning on staying at the ASM family suites with two 2 yos (his son and his niece). I know all rooms come with one PnP for free, but it seems like they will need an extra one for the two little ones. How much is renting an extra PnP from the resort? TIA! ;)

When I made our reservation for Nov/DEc the CM put the crib request on the reservation. If we doing get one my lo sleeps fine in a pack n play

The first time we went with my daughter (at 6 months) to the GF we had a "real" crib -- not a pack-n-play. Maybe we were just lucky, but at check-in they asked us which type of crib we would prefer. The crib is not full-sized however, it is slightly smaller. But it was perfectly nice.

For our second trip when my daugher was 18 months, we rented from A Baby's Best Friend. They have a full sized crib and it was very nice. We also rented a fan (white noise) and set up for toys from them. Everything was great, and I would definititely recommend them.
