Full screen? Techie needed!

Full screen for VMK doesn't work for me. If I change to full screen mode, I still get a huge black bar on the right. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there some setting I need to change? I also have a lot of dead green space on the home page that is also on the right. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have changed my properties many times - nothing works. Thanks for any help you can offer!

maybe change the screen resolution of your screen. my monitor is like 17'' so if i make it like 1024x768 it will almost be the whole screen. for smaller monitors maybe 800 x 600 might work.

Wish I could help, tolkien, but actually for me it's always been a big black bar on the right. I always assumed that was how it was for everyone. Hope you can figure it out soon.

LOL - maybe it is! I just assumed it was me and my bad settings. Thanks for the input.

perhaps it is the screen size? are you talking about moniter or window resolution/

I don't bother trying to make it full screen. When you do something like that, it just makes the images blurry. I'm good with the regular size.

Yea it happens to me everytime, i don't have a full screen either, i've tried but i keep having to scoll down to see what i'm typing and to see if i have any messages....
