Full or partial for a pop-up

What are the advantages if any for reserving a full site versus a partial site? We have a pop-up, a Ford Explorer, will rent a golf cart and will probably put up a 12x12 stand alone awning since our awning on the side of the pop-up is broken? We want to be somewhat close to a comfort station, want a shady spot and somewhat near a bus stop. Any suggestions? We'll be going in early June 2010. Thanks so much.

The only difference between full and partial is the sewer.

If you plan on doing a lot of cooking and/or creating dish water (grey water) it is easier if you have a full hookup. Otherwise you have to take your grey water container over to the comfort station or an empty full hookup site to dump it.

Same thing if you have a portapotty in your camper. Easier to empty it if you have a full hookup.

The partial hookup sites are in Loop 1500 and 2000. 1500 is very convenient location wise. 2000 is kind of remote.

The full hookup sites are Loops 1600, 1700, 1800 and 1900.

Loop 1600 and 1700 is fairly convenient to everything. Loop 1800 and 1900 is kind of remote.

Oh, also if you want to bring a pet, then you'll need to book a full hookup. Partial Hookup sites don't allow pets.

With a popup you'll have to kennel the pet when you go to the parks.

ALL sites in the campgroun have cable, so you can get TV stations and get internet (you have to pay for internet) at any site.

I agree with everything clkelley has stated.

With regard to bus stops, if that is important to you, the partial loops each have an adjacent bus stop. The full loops share one bus stop. It is a bit of a hike to the bus stop from the 1800 and 1900 loops. So, if you reserve full hook up site, you might be as far as you can be in the Fort from a bus stop. It still isn't bad, but it is not as close as the bus stops are for the partial loops.

Unless it is a typo, you say that you are planning to rent a golf cart. If that is true, then being close to one of the internal bus stops is not important, because you can ride your cart to the Outpost or Settlement, and leave the cart there while you visit the parks.
