full house..random question

im sitting here watching full house while im getting ready to go out (yess i relive my childhood through these shows haha)...now for all you full house lovers....what is Uncle jesse's last name?
i thought it was jesse Katsopolis....now this is an early episode, michelle is a baby...it just said his last name was Cochran...so which is right? thanks

Cochran? Maybe? hmmmmmmmmmm? Cochran really doesn't sound right. maybe the changed it in the later episodes.

I don't know when the change took place, but they decided to change it because (I read in an article) that people were having a hard time identifying with Katsopolis (sp?)

I don't know if that is the correct reason, but it did change during the course of the show

It's one of those things that changed over the years They decided somewhere along the way to make his Greek ancestry more of a big deal and changed his name. I'm sure they thoguht we'd never notice

Ok, I'm about to show my true Full House geekiness here, but in the beginning his last name was Cochran. Then, it was changed to Kantsopolis (not sure exactly when). Although, I'm not a total geek, because I don't know why they changed it.
