Do you have any loop recommendations for two adults and two boys 9 and 11? Near the pool and the store?

We aren't bringing the dogs.

We stayed in the 1000 loop last May and liked it very much. My DH was disqusted that the satellite wouldn't work (too many trees) but other than that we really liked the loop. We would stay there again but this next trip need a pet loop. The 1000 loop is just across the main rd from the meadows trading post and was an easy walk with my Dkids (9,5,3yo's). We also rode bikes all around.

For Preferred hookup, we like the 1400 loop.

We just got back this week from FW and were in the 1300 loop. It is a full service non-pet loop (not preferred). Our site was 1321 and it backed onto the canal that separates this loop from the pool. We were right across from the playground, which is right beside the pool. We just walked from the back of our site along the canal (no other sites were there to walk through) for 1 min and we were at the Meadows Trading Post and the bridge over the canal for the pool and the outdoor movie/campfire beside that. We found the loop very quiet as the majority in it were long stay retirees. In fact we had the smallest rig there! It was great to see all the decorations on the sites. We really liked this loop as it was so convenient to the pool etc, and there was a bus stop right at the entrance to our loop. We found it quiet even with the proximity to the pool, with only one noisy night when a couple kids were screaming their lungs out at the pool until 10:30. I would not want to stay in this particular site in high season when the pool would be really busy for all hours of the day and night though.

We did a bike tour for next time and we liked the 1400 loop better (on the quieter site of the campground, but just as close to the pool & movie), but this is a preferred site (so a little more $). We noticed on our tour that most loops were pretty nice. Make sure you have told CRO about your length and all slideouts including awnings. We have a hybrid with tipouts on all sides and our site was just fine.

Have fun! We loved FW and will not stay in a hotel at WDW as long as we have our camper.

Thanks for the replies.

The preferreds are all booked up. The week we are going is the Northeast's spring break, so I'm sure it will be really crowded. But seeing that it's April, we'll probably have our air conditioning on. I wonder if we'd still hear the pool? Our bed is a pull out in the back of the camper, so although it would be convenient to be that close, the pool noise might get annoying.

Anyway, I looked on Disneycamper's website, and sure enough, there are lots of comments of pool noise in that area of the 1300's.

YOu may want to consider using a small table top fan in your bedroom. I use one to drown out all the noises.
