Hi. I'll be at Disney in about 6 weeks and plan on spending one of my days at Epcot. It will be a Tuesday with EMH and open until 11pm. My plan is to be there for rope drop and head back to my resort about 1pm, then back to Epcot around 6pm. I'll have 6 snack credits from using the DxDP and plan on using them all at F&W. My question is would you use those credits during lunch and then do a TS for dinner or would you do a TS for lunch then snack around WS for dinner?

I appreciate any thoughts on this!

We don't do any TS or QS at Epcot during Food and Wine. In fact we typically spend about 8 full days at Epcot and ONLY eat food from the booths and we still aren't able to try everything we want to try. I would skip any TS or QS that day so you can try as many Food and Wine items as possible.

We always use them for lunch, and sit down for dinner, but we prefer to sit for dinner. We also do the DxDP so we have the same set up as you. I think it really is a matter of which meal do you enjoy most to sit down and relax. We are a sit down dinner kind of a group!

Out of the choices you presented, I would do my TS at lunch and snack around the world for dinner.

Enjoy whatever you choose!

That sounds awesome! I would love to do that but will only be there for 4 days and need to use up dining credits. I'm loading up on Sigs so I'm not spending the whole trip just eating and will need to use 1 or 2 credits that day.

I'd normally prefer the same as you but I'm solo this trip and without the family's needs to consider I'm wide open.

I would use the snack credits for lunch and TS for dinner. If you can get to the booths right at opening, you will encounter shorter lines.

I was wondering about the lines. Are they tough to deal with at night? Projected crowd level is a 3 according to Touring Plans but I take those with a grain of salt.

I would do a TS lunch. It will be pretty hot midday and there are very few shaded places to eat in the WS. You can then enjoy the booths in the cooler evening weather.

We’re hitting the booths at an early lunch time and doing TS for dinner. Hopefully, we’ll miss (or be inside for) the late afternoon rain showers that September is known for.

Of those choices I would do a TS lunch to take advantage of some air conditioning and then snack your way around F&W in the evening when it’s a little cooler. Most menus now are the same for lunch and dinner so you’re not missing anything by choosing one seating over another.

A third option is to have a late breakfast/ brunch, skip lunch (or have something small) and then the F&W booths. I say this only because you’re trying to use dining credits- we usually would skip any TS on F&W day.

Lines will be longer at night on a week day and REALLY longer at night on weekends. That’s why we eat TS at night in Epcot during F&W (when we eat TS during F&W).

I would do the booths for lunch and TS for dinner.
FYI the booths are not open during EMH

Good to know about the booths being closed for EMH. Will there be anyplace to grab an adult beverage after 9 or should I head over to the Boardwalk?

I forget whether you can still grab a drink during EMH, but either way at that point there’s not a ton to do in WS; so I would definitely head over to the Boardwalk. You can plan to grab a drink outside or even sneak into Abracadabar. If you’re up for it- go to Jellyrolls for a song or two (or if you’re like us- end up closing the place down :) )

I'm joining the booths for lunch, TS at dinner crowd. We were at EP on a Monday evening, and we could barely move through the crowds, let alone get to the booths for anything to eat. This was on a TP predicted 4 or 5 day.

Ouch, that's what I was afraid of. Thanks for the heads up!
