Hi all,

I wondered if anyone could offer any advice when it comes to meal vouchers at DLP?

We're off on 7th Oct (cannot wait :woohoo: ) and booked when they were offering free half board.
We've since paid extra to get the full-board standard vouchers.

My question is about using the vouchers.
Can we use them against the cost of meals in any of the restaurants inside the parks?

It's a long time since we've had the vouchers and I seem to remember that we could use them anywhere and pay a small difference if it wasn't one of the restaurants listed on the voucher...

I'd appreciate any feedback.
Thanks
Steve

Yes you can use your vouchers at face value at buffet and table service restaurants. I dont think you can use them at counter service, the reason i say that is that i overheard a rather heated argument between a cm and customer at Hakunaa Matata on our last trip in july.

You will get two types of vouchers with full board. Each guest will get one lunch, which can only be used at the counter service, and then a dinner voucher which will be your table and buffet vouchers.
You can however, use them at any time of the day, but they are specific to their grouping and not restaurant. Make sure you choose the higher value counter service meal as in say Hakuna Matata, the meals range from approx 10 euros to 14 and your counter service voucher will cover you for the higher menu choice.

Oooo will it Lisa??? Been thinking on these, and thought ud just get a basic meal.... So u can use it for the higher meals??? Fab!!

Yes, they are for any counter service meal :)
We we "acquired" some - Johnny had the 13.99 meals,(top ones) and they accepted them no problem. We bought kids meals too for cash, and they even gave us an AP discount against everything! We thought it was good to know and they are definitely more appealing now :D

You were lucky to get the AP discount, we were refused the shareholder's discount in the Silver Spur and Cafe Mickey :(

So Full Board Standard is the same as it always was, but the plus and premium allow 2 buffet meals/day, it must be those vouchers that aren't valid in the counter service restaurants

We only had Full Board once and with standard vouchers and felt like we were eating all the time, can't imagine wanting 2 buffet, table service meals a day.

Probably Jill, they definitely gave counter service vouchers on the standard package and they were only valid in tge CS restaurants printed on them.
AND WOW, two buffets/table service? I'd pop haha!
