Fuji Finepix s6000fd accessories

I think I've decided on this camera. Would someone be so kind as to recommend what accessories I "need" to have, and what else might be useful? I'm getting confused. I'm looking at B&H. They offer a Deluxe Accessory kit, a Basic Accessory kit...or I can just order accessories separately.

Since shipping is a bit more to Alaska, I want to make sure I include all that I need with my original order.

Someone here also recommended the book, "Understanding Exposure," so I think I will add that too.

You will need memory cards...

Other things that might be nice to have would be a small tripod, a camera case, and possibly a lens cleaning kit of some sort. Oh and batteries

Other than that I can't think of anything myself.

Mainly a good capacity memory card or two and a couple sets of rechargeable NiMH batteries. You may want to check buy.com, newegg.com, and amazon.com for memory cards. WalMart is probably as good a place as any for batteries and charger, and perhaps a decent carrying case.

I just got this camara last week and i got a fliter and two memory cards for it so far. i did get two sets of batteries for it and plan on getting a few more memory cards since on a one day trip to the world i tooik 1000 pixs. i need ot have a ton of cards

Thanks for the help. I placed my order last night, and it shipped today! I'll hopefully check back in a week or so with some photos taken with my new camera. I've got a lot to learn, and am very excited!

You really ought to plan a quick run to WDW to see what the 6000fd is REALLY capable of! Seriously, have fun with your new toy; we'll be looking for your pix!
