Fuel Surcharge for ABBF

I was in the process of reserving a crib from A Baby's Best Friend online and at the very end it showed an additional $10 fuel surcharge. I was a little annoyed they didn't disclose this upfront (amongst their extensive FAQ). Has anyone rented from other companies that included a similar charge? Have people had good experiences with ABBF or other companies for crib rental? And if you've rented a crib, have you had to assemble it/did it come put together/was it a folding one? Thanks!
