Yes on the exchange. Can anyone confirm the price of fuel rods in Magic Kingdom? And where are you finding them? On my last trip I could only find one machine near Space Mountain and I couldn’t figure out the machine.
Lastly, if I buy one off Amazon can I exchange it for a fresh one in Magic Kingdom?
Do you know the name of the brand? Is it just “fuel rod”?Amazon has a pack of 2 for $34.99
where are you seeing that? One bought on Amazon may not be compatible with the ones for the fuel rod kiosks. https://www.fuel-rod.com/ Note the website doesn't list the ones at the Disney parks but you can find them in both the My Disney Experince App by searching for poratble phone charging

I purchased mine through Amazon, and have never had problems exchanging at Disneyland.
On their home page, Fuel Rod states “It’s simple! Exchange your FuelRod™ at any FuelRod™ Kiosk”, which is one of the major advantages of their product.
Ah got it. When you said “One bought on Amazon…”, I thought you meant “A Fuel Rod bought on Amazon…”, and you meant “A random external battery bought on Amazon…”.I'm not sure that you read everything that I wrote. I didn't buy mine on Amazon so I'm not aware that they are on it officially so that's why I said that only one's that are branded for the company and have a bar code on them can be swapped at the kiosks in the parks or elsewhere in the US.
They do help out though, just because you don't have a use for them you don't have to make a broad statement like that. They barely move the needle charging a modern iPhone. I would not bother.
They don't help - that is the point, They are not strong enough to give you even 25% extra on an iPhone 14 - best I got was 10% so don't waste your money. They do help out though, just because you don't have a use for them you don't have to make a broad statement like that.
And that's your opinion not everyone has that problem with their phone charging like that. I have a pixel 6 pro and it works just as well as any other charges I have. They don't help - that is the point, They are not strong enough to give you even 25% extra on an iPhone 14 - best I got was 10% so don't waste your money.
The Pixel 6 has a 4614 mAh battery so the 2,600 mAh Fuel rod will not charge it to 100% you would need 2 brand new peak condition rods to charge it. For less than $20 you can get a slim (less than 1/2 inch thick) charger on Amazon that is easier to carry and has over 10,000 mAh, so it can charge your phone twice no need to find a swap station. So I can back my "not worth it" opinion with numbers. And that's your opinion not everyone has that problem with their phone charging like that. And if you didn't have a charger with you or whatever one you have with you is dead? I'm sorry but having something is better than nothing. So yes fuel rods are worth it more so in the Disney parks because swapping is free. I'll stick with it being worth it because of the free swaps. The Pixel 6 has a 4614 mAh battery so the 2,600 mAh Fuel rod will not charge it to 100% you would need 2 brand new peak condition rods to charge it. Fuel rod has not upgraded their tech in many years so they are hopelessly outdated for modern phones
