We took the kids to Disneyland in '04. I remember thinking that $2.25 per gallon to fill the rental car at LAX was such a joke. With just a little more time we may be back to that point again. There's some kind of lesson here, somewhere.

I saw 2.69/reg yesterday here in Central Fla. Didn't pay attention to the diesel price.

Finally! We are no longer the highest price in the cont. US! I bought gas at 2.59 yesterday! Yes!

Wow! That's incredible. We are hovering around $3.09. I'm thinking it should break the $2.99 in the next week or so. It dropped almost twenty cents in the last week.

I wish I could buy it and store it up somewhere so I'd have it at this price for the summer.

Good grief - gas prices went down to 3.09 overnight - all it took was Andrew Cuomo (NYS AG) to threaten investigations. We're still almost a dollar more than a lot of places.

We've seen anywhere from $2.49 to $2.79 on the drive down. $3.29 - $3.59 for diesel

We've been paying an average of $2.89 for Shell or BP mid-grade
