Fuel cost from West Yorkshire to DLP

My apologies if this has been asked, my husband has requested I ask you knowledgable people

We are driving to DLP this summer, driving from home to Ashford 30th June where we will stay in a travelodge, then catch an early eurotunnel early the next morning.

He is a money worrier and wants to have an idea of what everything is going to cost before we travel. I have costs of everything else worked out but have no idea of this! It's about 450 miles isn't it?

Any ideas? We have a diesel Renault Mégane 1.5 if it helps...

I think if you put the journey into either google maps or aa route planner one of them tells you miles & fuel costs. Sorry I cant be more helpful.

We got from Newport South Wales to DLP on 3/4 tank if diesel so about £65/70. We have a 2 litre galaxy.

Diesel has been approximately 20 pence per litre cheaper in France (avoid motorway stations) then the UK but the UK has dropped theirs recently so it might not be as much difference but should be cheaper as they pay less tax on fuel

Plus with motorway driving your car will be more economical

If you go on the viamichelin site, put in your start and finish points, type of car etc and it will tell you how far it is, approx how long it will take you and the cost including tolls.
