Fudge

Ok, where's the best fudge in the 'world'? I'm talking the kind mom used to make when we were kids type of fudge. Not the stuff that has been in the case for 3-4 days and is sorta hard and getting old.

From what I've seen, it all comes from the same place. Every place at WDW I've seen selling fudge has the same kinds and offers the same "buy four get two more free" deal. But don't take that as a bad thing the fudge is very good!

Since all the fudge seems to be about the same kinds throughout the parks and you can actually see them making it in the MK candy shop, that is where we buy fudge if we will be visiting that park during the trip. We have always felt it tasted a little fresher from this shop, although we have enjoyed it anywhere we bought it.

Oh, man. I dream about the BUTTERFINGER fudge from this place. Always wake up with pools of drool on my pillow...

I always say I'm buying it to bring home with us...but can never understand why the box is always empty by the end of our stay!

I really liked the pumpkin fudge, which may just be seasonal, and also the peanut butter.

I love buying it at the Main Street Confectionary in MK...I don't know, it's just extra special there! I've also gotten it at Goofy's Candy Co. @ DTD and the Candy Cauldron on the West Side. All very fresh and stayed fresh for the few days I savored it. I bought a little extra when I was there in early Dec. and froze it for Christmas. I just let it thaw out and it tasted just as fresh and delish. I love the peanut butter fudge!
