Can someone tell me what was included in the FTP? Also, am I right that is was pay for 4 nights, get 7?

7 nights for the price of 4
Unlimited Park Hopper Passes (all parks, water parks, PI, DQ)
Framed Print (Donald Duck from Philharmagic, I believe) & Pin
Luggage tags

Was there a per person rate or per night? How did they figure the park passes?

Well, you're straining my memory here; most days I'm lucky if I remember the previous day! ;)

It was a package, based on number of paying nights, number of guests and resort room/view. The basic idea was 3 free nights - pay for 4 nights, get a total of 7, 5 + 3 = 8, etc. There was a point where it ended/didn't make financial sense. Someone please step in a correct any errors - I can't find anything on the web about FTP!

We paid 1700 for 8 days, 7 nights at Port Orleans for 2 adults and 2 kids and Ultimate Park Hoppers.

So, whatever it would regulary cost for a 4 night 5 day package, you get 7 nights 8 days.

FreshTressa, are you saying that the FTP was for seven nights at a WDW resort and you were charged for only four nights(3 free nights) and eight days of UPH passes and were charged for 5 days(3 free days)? This was a much better deal than I had realized. I thought a person got the 3 free nights, but had to pay for 8 days of UPH. I didn't look into the details of the package because I didn't think WDW would give away free park passes in packages. What a good deal.

Thanks everybody. Obviously it's after the fact for this year but I am trying to anticipate for next year since we are going in Oct. 2004. When did the FTP come out this year? I want to know when I should start watching in case they do it again in 2004.

FreshTressa, that seems like a great deal, if you take into consideration what the rack rate of PO is.

My 7 night FTP package at ASM is $40 more than a 4 night Dream maker package. I'm not sure why the $40 difference, but it still a great deal.

We were in the process of booking our trip for four nights when they started the FTP. We were extremely happy we were able to get the deal. I believe the special started in May. That's when we booked.
