FTP-anyone back who got there print/pin?

Not to be the bearer of bad news or anything, but I just wanted to clarify the value of the print. I just got back from going to Disney on the FTP and got the print too. I saw the exact same print/pin in the same frame on the wall in the Art of Disney in DTD with a price tag of 85 dollars. Still not too shabby, right? I mean, at least I was excited. I thought they were gonna give me a 10 dollar print when I saw it as part of the package.

I haven't checked on the airline's size restrictions for carryons, but do you think the boxed print would count as the one personal item you are allowed to carry on?

re: carry-on - that's what we did to bring it home (took it on as our personal item). I dunno if that was supposed to work though - are pins technically allowed on flights these days?

I'm really anxious now to get our print in five weeks too!

And yes, I believe pins are o.k. on flights. I haven't flown since October 2001, but I believe stewardesses even wear pins on their uniforms often. I would be very surprised if small stick pins were declared lethal weapons. Man, that would be a SLOOOOOW way to go

In October 2001, I did almost have problems carrying a small "sandglobe" on board (it was from the AK - like a snowglobe, but with sand and no water - it was Mickey at a dino digsite). When checking in I was told they may send me back at the gate and make me check the globe, because technically I could smash it and use the glass as a weapon. I did, however, make it on the plane with my globe.

By the way, I think it's worth noticing that there's a small spoiler from Mickey's Philharmagic in the print.

Did anyone notice that it appears Donald has followed in the footsteps of Mickey from Fantasia and has stolen the Sorcerer's Hat?

I got the fairytale package also. Can someone tell me when you actually receive this? I know when you get there but does the resort give it to you or do you have to go someone to retrive it? Does it fit in your suitcase?

You get a certificate when you check in. You take the certificate to one of the stores listed on the back. Usually the main gift store at your resort.
