Has anyone stayed there for XMAS and do they do anything for you and family on XMAS day!!!!! This is our 1st and we have rented 2 cabins for 8 adults and 5 children.:santa:

We stayed last Christmas and they did not bring us any gifts. There was not anything special that we saw on Christmas Day. I might add that it would be wise to make dinner reservations early( Liberty Tree at Mk is nice) and a lot of people decorate their campsites which is nice.

in 2005, there were lots of activities on Christmas Day. a Scavenger hunt, crafts, contests (donut eating, wrapping presents). All in all a fun day.

Lots and Lots and Lots of decorated campsites. You can sign up for the decorating contest. the winner had a ton of stuff, over in loop 300 right at the corner. FW folks said they are in that same spot every year

We stay at the fort every christmas and it is tons of fun. We bring tons of decorations. Like Lesia said there are decorating contests and scavenger hunts there is even a golf cart poraide. I also recomend the Trails end buffet for christmas day. Its great service and food. The kids can also decorate a cookie.

Thanks for the info we are going to Liberty tree one day for dinner, bringing decorations for the cabin and thought of ordering a Xmas tree from the florist. We will be there 9 days so was hoping for a little xmas spirit from the hotel

Thanks it sounds like we are in for great fun! We have never taken a full vacation for 2 weeks or been to DW so looks like we are going at the best time of year
