Ft. Wilderness..Which Loop?

Can someone tell me which loop they prefer and why?

Which one would be most convenient so we won't have to catch 2 buses to get to the parks?

We have 2 cabins booked with 2 golf carts.

Sorry I can't help you with your question, as I have never stayed in the cabins. I just wanted to say the my husband and I rented bikes last Nov. and rode around Fort Wilderness and it was beautiful. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time.

We stayed in the 2500 loop and loved it, as it was close to the pool and laundry. It was also close to the bus stop but we had a car so that wasnt in our equasion. I would ask for one of the last cabins or the 2nd or 3rd cabin (closest to bus stop). The first cabin is situated right in front of the laundry building (yucky view).
At the time we were there (2002) all the internal bus stops stopped at the outpost or settlement stops depending on where you were going. If you had to transfer busses, I dont know, but heres a website that can answer any questions you have:

There is also a separate board here that is about FW and camping you can lurk on.

I'm pretty sure no matter where you are, you are going to have to transfer busses from an internal bus to one going to the parks at either the Settlement or Outpost depots. You might consider posting this question on the Camping board. There are a lot of campers hanging out there that really know the FW bus system.

I would suggest 2100 or 2200. You can board an internal bus and then switch to the park buses which pick up at the Settlement and Gateway depots.
