how complicated is it to get to DTD by bus? how long would it take, and what times do the buses keep running from DTD back to the campgrounds. ( & for that matter do thee buses in the campgrounds run 24/7?)

or is a taxi a good choice? & how do you do that, & cost?

would really appreciate the info

A bus runs from DTD to FW like all of the other resorts about every 20 minutes until 2am each day from the same bus depot you will use to get to parks other then Magic Kingdom. To get there you take one of the 3 different bus routes that run through FW regularly.

From the main bus stop, it's about 15 minutes to DTD on the bus. We enjoyed the buses. They are clean and climate controlled.

I think you would have to call a taxi. I can't imagine there are many lurking around on the off chance someone at FW needs a ride.

Not complicated at all! The buses to DTD run as often from the Outpost as the other 'park' buses, and we have never had any issues with them. Depending on 'when' you get to the outpost, you could have a 20min or so wait if a bus just left, but it's never been a bad experience for us - actually we enjoy the buses. They run til after midnight, but no, not 24/7 - the times may vary with park hours, etc. I would think a taxi would be overkill, but that's JMO.
