I've booked a cabin at FW Thanksgiving week for my daughter's family & me---It will be my grandchildrens' 1st trip to WDW! (They'll be 3-1/2 & 1-1/2)..Does anyone have an opinion which loop(s) are best to request? We don't really need to be near a bus stop, since we've reserved a golf cart, but I'd like to be near the pool and laundry--Is Loop 2500 noisy, being so close to the pool? Which loops are non-smoking?

Two more questions, while I'm here--Does the bedroom still have a TV? Is there a path/road from FW to WL, that you can take the golf cart on? (My other daughter and her husband might come, also, and stay at WL)

Thanks for any help----------

2500 is the loop with quiet pool and laundry. I don't think it would be too noisy as the laundry building abuts the pool. Another option is the 2200 loop that backs up to the regular 1100 loop. There is a path to the comfort station with a laundry (no pool).

All TVs have been removed from the bedroom.

I don't think you can drive the golf carts to WL, but would check with FW on that point. It's a fun path.

Thanks so much for the info, Debbie-----------Have at great time at Disneyland ( 2 days to go! I'm so jealous--I still have 281!)

I vote for loop 2100. Last year we stayed with my family of four plus my parents. A look at a map of the campground shows that only cabin loop 2100, Bobcat Bend, is close to "real" campsites. This means that you are within walking distance to one of the "comfort stations," the public restrooms/laundries that Fort Wilderness provides. These buildings are spotless and well-lit. Basically they provide an extra bathroom if you are in a hurry in the morning. We would ship Grandpa off to use the bathrooms and I went a a lot to use the laundry. 2100 is also close to a main bus stop but it is a ways from the quiet pool. It's also relatively close to the Meadows Trading Post. We stayed in #2140 and the comfort station was just a few steps away.

We loved the cabins. They are so much fun. My kids really had a good time and we hung out a lot at Ft.Wilderness. They loved the petting zoo and pony rides.

Have fun!
