Ft. Wilderness Cabins & Minnie Vans

Looks like Minnie Vans will be making a comeback soon. Yay! If I request one to pick us up from Ft. Wilderness, can the Minnie Van pick us up directly from the cabin or do we have to go up to the front?

At first I thought maybe for those days I stay at the Parks and nDH goes back to the Fort after lunch, but not at $40 a pop. I'll wait for the bus.

For those who don't have a vehicle & would prefer not to use Disney transport, I'd think it'd be cheaper (or 'break even') to just rent a car. I know rental rates are around $40.00/day (AAA discount, airport location) in So Cal.

I bet you will still be able to, Betty. That's how they have to justify the higher guest cost. Ride shares like Uber and taxis have to drop off/pick up at the Fort Check-In building. The MV's can provide the services to the cabin or campsite "door".

So unless Disney is going to drop the MV rates <giggle>, it will be as it was before IMO.

I've paid $67 per day, (The Fort rents based on a full 24 hour day).
Yes, a cart from the outside can be brought in, but the vendor can't deliver. You can go pick it up or bring it with you.
You can also bring in your own cart.
