FT Walton Beach, Florida

Hi all--

A quick trip to the beach has just come up. Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort at Ft Walton Beach, FL??? I thought it would be OK, but some of the reports on tripadvisor.com scared me. Any help would be appreciated--I'm taking my cousin's 10 year old daughter. My cousin has breast cancer and her daughter has had a pretty rough summer. We missed our annual WDW trip due to the cancer. Any suggestions would be very helpful!!

We stayed at the Pink Shell Resort last summer at Ft. Walton Beach and I would highly recommend it. We had a 2 bedroom unit. The pool areas are wonderful.
