Okay - summary, let's see if I have this right.
1) I have a 6 day MYW ticket (purchased through Disney) due to a pre-planned trip in April. Not part of a package, but all my FP's for April trip are set for that family trip. Other family member tickets are not changing.
2) Since now I will be there next week, too, I want to have an Annual Pass instead.
3) I could TODAY buy an Annual Pass (as will call) and link that into MDE.
4) Once it's linked into MDE - I could make FP's on the AP for the next couple of weeks when I'll be in FL.
5) Now - if I do that - when is best time to cancel my 6 day ticket to not risk losing my FP's in April? Anytime after I know the AP is in MDE account or after I actually activate the AP in a week by showing up at a Guest Relations window and entering a park? Or does that not matter?
6) Or is safest way to upgrade to an AP from my ticket by doing this at a Guest Relations window inside (or outside?) a park? And by safest - I mean by safest in that I don't want to lose my April FP's.
