Hi, I read your post....I am not worried about all 5 of us not fitting comfortably...in fact my 4 year old sleeps in her barbie blow up bed that we bring for her. I guess it is the fire codes that the hotel is concerned with. I personally don't have a problem with the size of the room or her having a place to sleep.
so, I am assuming that you have only registered 4 of you to the CBR and there were actually 5 of you in the room. Since the "fire code law" is that there is only allowed 4 per room if you would have so called "got caught" what would they do? Would they kick you out? Make you get another room? A room that would "legally" (in hotel sense) hold 5? Did that ever concern you?
I totally LOVE having my family of 3 children and wouldn't change it for the world.. but I agree with you and a lot of others that not everyone can afford to get 2 rooms at a value resort. Plus, even if the rooms were adjoining...since my kids are sooo small they would have to have mom in one room and dad in another. Not a bad idea when they are older though. Even a junior suite at CBR was $325.00 per night.... more than a room at BC ( a deluxe resort) I just think Disney should give us families with 5 a little more options than just one mod. resort to choose from and the deluxes. Not everyone can afford them. We are leaving for
Disneyland tomorrow and the Disneyland Hotel even accomodates 5 in their "standard" room. No extra charge for the daybed.
