Frustrated...

To preface my story, my DH, DSD, and DS had to go to Florida on an emergency basis in December, as his mother was sick, and didn't know if she was going to make it much long (I didn't go, as I was sick myself from chemo). She ended up making it through Christmas, and ended up passing away a week after the Packers were eliminated from the playoffs (she was an ultimate fan!). DS4 brought his Butch Beanie Buddy, who he had slept with every night since he got him at age 2, with him. Butchie got lost somewhere between here and there, and we were never able to track it down. Fast forward to March. I decided to look online and see if I could find one for him. Looked on Ebay, the only one they had was one that someone had hand-painted in tie-dyed colors. I knew that one wouldn't do. I ended up at beanietown-usa.com, placed an order on March 17, and still have not received it. I emailed them yesterday to get a status on it (the website said to wait 21 days, so I was a few days early on contacting them). I have yet to received a response. I was hoping to have Butchie to put in his Easter basket, but it looks like that won't happen. Just had to vent my frustrations!!

Sorry about your frustration, I totally understand not wanting to disappoint your little guy.

I looked at the site and they do 2nd day and overnight shipping. You could order from them, have it for Easter and then deal with the other place later. It is not a bad idea to have a back up anyway. We have two "piggie"s and I switch them back and forth whenever one needs a bath. DD doesn't realize it and if something happened, we have a spare waiting in the wings.
