frustrated with ebay

Hi,

I think I am not going to buy anything else from ebay I bought a wii game gave my kids the wii game on Christmas and the game won't work. Every other game I bought works and I took it to my sisters house and it won't work on hers either. As soon as I realized it wasn't working I contacted the seller and have heard nothing but yet he is still listing more items to sell. I have tried contacting him many times and he won't respond I did a dispute. I have never had to do this so I am so worried that I am going to be out my money. I did not leave a feedback yet because I was trying to be nice do you think I should leave a negative feedback or wait to see how the dispute ends?

I always use paypal through ebay so I am protected and have even gotten a refund for an item I did not recieve after I paid. I think the seller has 10 days to respond and then you win the dispute automatically. Good luck!

Wii tells you to contact them directly, not to deal with the merchant (no matter if it ebay or a regular store) Did you get a reciept with it?

Was the game new or used? Either way, there is no excuse for him not to answer you, if he is listing, then more then likely he is able to get to his emails. Although I have been on a cruise without internet access before but had my listings set for automatic listing at specified times.

If it was new could you handle it through the manufacturer? If that is the case the guy would have had no idea it didn't work, but should give you an easier way of dealing with it (receipt, something).

We purchased a baseball bag off ebay a couple weeks before Christmas. I emailed them right away and told them it was a Christmas gift and to please email me the shipping info (did not have price listed so I could not pay). 5 days later did not email me back, I purchased it elsewhere. Finally just last week they emailed me to pay still with no shipping info. I told them good, that if they had emailed me the info I would of paid ASAP but now I have purchased it elsewhere. I know some will say its a binding contract, but in my eyes the seller did not stand up to his end of the deal. I have over 1,000 positive with no neg if he neg me I will do the same to him.

I did pay with payapl and I did not get a reciept with the game it was used it said it was in great condition

I would wait for the dispute to end before I did anything else. He should have just refunded you in my opinion since it was used and did not work.
