Arrgghh! I was on plan all week, but just can't lose. I have been having a bit of trouble "moving things along" and yesterday I had a diet soda, and my rings won't move today. I am at the same weight I was last weekend. Does anyone else notice that diet soda can make them retain water? It was a diet root beer, with 100mg of sodium (diet pepsi only has 35mg!). Does any one else get frustrated when they have been on plan, but the scale won't move? I did measure, and have lost some inches, but I have to say I want the scale to reflect it too!! (Which I know is wrong, but hey, today I am feeling a bit blue!
) Sigh.
PS. A good point though, is that I am stuck at my lowest weight!

and it can be discouraging! It does sound as though you may be retaining a little water if your rings don't fit. Even though it may not make you feel better at the moment, the inches ARE coming off, which means your body is still responding to all your hard work--you're just not seeing it on the scale (yet)! And if you're exercising and building muscle, you may not see the scale move (or may have a slight gain) as muscle weighs more than fat. But, girl, you are shrinking! The weight will eventually start coming off again as your body adjusts--I know others have posted helpful tips on plateau-busters so hopefully they may have some good advice for you. Keep your chin up--this happens during weight loss, and it's just something we have to accept and deal with as best we can although it is a pain in the you-know-what! It is temporary though, and soon you'll be seeing that scale go back down--I promise!
Keep up the great work...
) and am praying that helps.
) and you will start seeing the scale move again. (I have actally had a scale get quite literally "stuck", and had to get a new one. That was one of the happiest days of my life, throwing out that d***** scale!) Keep the Faith in you and don't turn away from your goal! Look how far you've come, and think where you will be in a year!
