Can you get fruit in place of a dessert while on the dinning plan at either TS or CS places? My kids love fruit and I figure we will have an abundance of desserts on this trip. :) :mickeybar :)

Possibly at the resort food courts, but I am not sure.

We were just there 10/14-10/23. The "no dessert at breakfast" rule went into effect on 10/15. Since we checked in prior to that date we were allowed "dessert" with breakfast and we all chose fruit every day.

We had "real" dessert, like cake, with lunch. There was ONE time in the evening that I got chicken strips, fries, and a fruit bowl for us to snack on in the room and they did not question my fruit as a dessert. So depending on the resort and who is working the register you might be able to get fruit as a dessert. I don't know if the CS places in the park even have fruit. I didn't pay that much attention because we rarely ate a proper lunch - usually just breakfast, snacks, and a big dinner.

If they offer it on the menu, it shouldn't be a problem. We always get the fresh fruit when we go to Teppanyaki.

We recently had lunch at Tusker House in AK and they let us have grapes for our dessert. They were very good and just right after a heavy lunch!
