Trying to be good at least part of the time next week, I'm looking to snack on fruit once or twice. Has anyone had experience with this? Are they any fruit options that you can't get with a snack credit?

I basically used all my snack credits for fruit last year and will again next week. They sell fruit in the hotel food courts and throughout the parks. They also sell the carmel apples in MK, DHS and DTD. I know not the perfect healthy item but fresh fruit none the less. AK has a great fruit cart near the entrance for the safari. They sell fresh pineapple, grapes and the regular apples, bananas and oranges. They aslo have celery/carrot sticks with dip. Many of these are available at Sunshine Seasons as well. Hope this helps!

Another option is to give up your CS dessert for a piece of fruit.

There were several places in the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom (Pirata y el Perico; Cosmic Rays, Flame Tree BBQ) that let us have fruit instead of the dessert. We didn't ask at any other place, but most CSs have at least grapes as part of the kids meal that you can substitute for the dessert.

Off the main subject, but when was La Pirata y el Perico open? It's one of our favorites and has been closed the past few times we visited. Thanks!
