Planning our park days way ahead (for early March) so I can make our Dining ressies next weekend. Not sure that we'll have a FP for Frozen at Epcot due to the tiering and other priorities but know many in our party would like to see it. We will be staying at the Boardwalk so can get there pretty easily. Any sense if there is a time of day when the stand-by wait is not an hour or more?

Thanks!

My guess would be early in the morning, maybe rope drop, would be your best bet! Otherwise, I know they have the "Frozen Ever After Fireworks Dessert Party"...it costs extra but you get prime fireworks seating and then a Frozen ride after the show. I was going to do it but it wasn't an option the night that we will be at Epcot. I don't think they've released dates for the dessert party past this november/december though.

We went to Disney twice this year, for several days. Each visit to Epcot we tried to ride without success. The wait was about an hour.. which doesn't work for us. Perhaps next visit we ll try at opening. Have a great visit

OK thanks, and I assume it opens at Park opening (i.e. 9:00) instead of the World Showcase opening time of 11:00, correct?

First thing in the morning or get in line right before closing if you are not viewing Illuminations. The posted wait will be inflated late at night but the actual wait should be fairly short.

The wait is manageable for about the first 1-2 hours of the day. So get to Epcot around 9 and head there

They definitely inflate the wait times - we went at 7:15pm today and Disney said the wait was 65 min, touring plans said 55 min and we waited less than 20 min.

Everyone has given some great advice. If there is any evening EMH while you are there, that is a good time to go as well. The max I have waited during that is 30 minutes.

yeah early in the day (from park open to world showcase open) or during illuminations should be the best times for you. there tends to be less people at night, but the posted time will be higher than it actually is to keep people moving. be on the lookout for extra magic hours as well since you're staying on property

Perfect! I was actually down last week with a separate group of friends and we had an 8:30 pm FP the day we arrived which worked well. The stand by line looked to be pretty long though(out the door), and posted as 60 min I think. As it happens there is an evening EMH while we are there so will likely try that. Thanks!
