Frozen Singalong...

Saw the show with my family in March. Were the couple who narrated the show the same people who I've seen hosting the Star Wars Weekends on YouTube - Snig and Ookla (or something like that). I thought they might have been the same, but wasn't certain.

in all honesty we LOVE the show! We're going down again in September and I think I have us 'scheduled' to see it 5 times! We really enjoy it and our 'little' princess is 15! DH didn't think he'd like it (but he's a great guy so he went to see it willingly with us) - he loved it too :-) We see it several times each trip and I have even caught DH singing along (DD belts out the words and I sing along too)

Oh this is SO good to hear. My husband is dreading it because our 6yo has been singing these songs for... 2 years now? I can't imagine missing it. Do they do all the songs from the movies? I'm sure Let it Go makes an appearance. There are so many great songs to sing along to...

Would my parents who have never seen the movie still enjoy it? I'm sure at the very least they will enjoy seing their grandkids *and grown daugther ahem cough cough cough* belt it out...

Yes! We had someone who had never seen the movie was us. Spoiler alert for these people! (If they care. Ours was glad. It was like the movie condensed into a fun 25 min.) It is enjoyable even if you don't love Frozen. All the top songs make an appearance. In my showings, hardly anyone sang! So there is no pressure at all. It is enjoyable, decent, funny entertainment and being a Frozen fan and not even knowing the plot is not a requirement. @Mamato2cutekiddos

Really excited to see this! Our first time there in three years, so much is new, including everything Anna and Elsa. lol.

Some of these stage actors are the Comedy Warehouse alums?

My dad had never seen the movie.

We were at HS for one day and had some downtime so we decided to go see the show since I'm a huge Frozen fan. My dad didn't seem like he was too into it at first. But the historians are HILARIOUS!!! He loved it so much that he wanted to go see it AGAIN before the fireworks!! So we were the first in line for the last show!!

It's really cute and I highly recommend it!!

Meanwhile, that and the Frozen fireworks made my dad a Disney lover for life.

He started the day saying, "Are we really waiting in a 30 minute line?" and "$4 for a water? You're kidding."
After watching the Sing Along and especially after the Frozen Fireworks he was walking to Fantasmic saying, "I don't care how much it costs to get in here...I'm gonna pay it!! They deserve all the money they get! That is awesome!!"

Then we took him to Fantasmic!!

Needless to say he's as excited about moving to Orlando and being an Annual Passholder as the rest of my Disney obsessed family!!

I digress!! Sorry, just wanted to share how the Sing Along kinda changed his life lol!!

Full disclosure... I'm not a huge Frozen fan, but I went and it was cute. I have to say though, during that trip I also got to see Peter Noone perform and I knew all the songs, and I sang along gleefully (he had instructed us to sing loud enough to annoy the people in France and I did)...I couldn't follow the Frozen songs even with the words up on the projector. Fortunately the Dad behind me knew them all :).

Proof that Disney should always keep the Hollywood fireworks! Love to hear about another Convert!!

Is he really moving here? That'd be hysterical. I mean but the right thing to do. Lol

Great story! Disney is a great family entertainer for all ages. Kudos to them for appealing to all of us!

Went to see it in April. Such a cute show! Great presentation and performance! It was a packed house, glad I had the Fp for it. Had seats in the forth row and totally expected very few people singing along, but was very pleasantly surprised that when it was time to sing along, most of the audience sang their hearts out! it was great! Kids from young to old! Loving every minute of it! Can't wait to see it again next year! Hoping they still have it next year... You never know what's going to happen next with HS...

The historians were so funny that they cracked themselves up several times. :D It was great!

I love it! My DH is a Disney Lover, and wasthe driving force behind taking m=our precious little Pluto loving DGD on he first visit with all of her "friends". However....he has a hard time when we costed it out, and included a back up plan in case the little Princess was too overwhelmed with the parks and the characters. (The back up plan was his idea) Anyway, on our first day we heard how expensive the beverages were, as well as the cost of food. WE were on that old DDP which was a steal! but he could not stop looking at the prices. By dinner at CM that first night he was starting to get drawn into the Disney vaccuum that sucks indulgent Grandpa's right into gift shops and, by day two he was toast! At the end of that first trip back in too many years, he was a DIsney Convert, much like your Dad. He told me that it was the best money we ever spent, and tht he was committed to getting our DGD to her favorite place at least once a year, and twice whenever possible. He kept that commitment, even though he was not able to accompany all of us every trip, he made sure we went.

I aso happy that your Dad joined the Disney Dreamers. I think that as an older adult, one who probably grew up on WOnderful World of Disney being a part of the family SUnday night routine, the nostalgia he experiences is much like ours..

My DD who was 8 when we went last year, LOVED THIS SHOW. She wanted to see it over and over again. I liked it as well. The only complaint she had was that the show needed more Elsa! ;)

Haha!! We actually all are! My sister did the Disney College Program in 2009 and fell in love with Orlando (of course we already were in love with the Mouse!). So after she got her masters she moved back in December 2013.

As soon as I'm done with my masters in May 2016 I'm heading there too and my grandparents are coming as soon as they can!

My mom and aunt will be there when they can retire from their state jobs.

But dad--wasn't on board. He wanted "to be near the beach"!! Not anymore!! He's headed to Orlando too!! :)

Well, actually Celebration, Florida!! That's our town!!

@kittyninja Lovely, we made the move this spring and are loving it.
Today, I got REALLY GREAT GREAT NEWS (as in, the news I have been HOPING for as in, my new potential employer -you know the one-, and it came! It came today! :yay: :yay: :yay: Sept is going to be brand new things all ways around! I'm so excited!)

Anyway I wanted to mention, we live just a few exits from Celebration at Exit 58, and where we are, its a sort of 'new' development and a lot of CMs live here. We are close enough to watch the fireworks (and I do! EVERY. NIGHT.) and it's a bit less expensive I imagine than Celebration, and its not Kissimmee, but it is a nice mix of some rural and some nice developments, especially some pretty up and coming golf resorts/communities. I like to say, its where the cows meet the condos. And VERY close to I-4. I think we are going to find the real estate values are rising again, which will be good for investment. We just love it! I was going to go to HS tonight, but I'm still fighting this sinus infection, and to top it off, it's storming anyway, so I'll end up syncing my Frozen Summer soundbites and watching it from upstairs again. Not bad if I can't get to the parks tonight. (I still plan to tomorrow!)

Anyway super fun. They say about 900 people move to Florida every day. I don't see how they couldn't once they see our stunning sunrises and sunsets. Not to mention that if we want, we can choose Atlantic or Gulf coasts within an equal hour or so drive (and that's make it great for cruises too!) Central Fl is awesome.

@TwinPrincessMermaids
That sounds PERFECT!! Exactly what we want!! My sister lives in Kissimmee in an apartment which is nice but it's a little far from the school she teaches at!! The area you described may actually be closer!! Also, my grandmother would love it if we could watch the fireworks from our house!! Also, the aforementioned dad would LOVE to live in a golf community (he can't live in the big house with all of us cause mom would kill him lol)!!

We all just want to be together and near Disney!! :) Thanks for the tip! We'll check it out!!

Sorry to hijack the thread!! lmao!!

Great post question! I was wondering if it was worth the FP, i'm really excited now. My friend saw it in Feb. and said it was one of the best things she did at the parks that week.

Would it be good use of fast pass for the sing along? If so is their Special area for those with fast pass?

I am wondering about the fast pass too, and you all have convinced me to add it to ourplans!
