Last three weekends (friday through monday) Frozen package is sold out. CM was really confused on how they were all sold out.

So bummed and frustrated

The black out on local AP's ends on 8/18 (or 16, I forget now) so after then you have an influx of locals going. I suspect that has aided in the sell out of the end of the month.

Just want to note that when I called on the day it was announced the CM could not get me in and stated to me that it must have sold out really fast! I was not ready to give up that quickly because it seemed impossible so i kept bugging her and finally she tried to book it by putting in my name and info and...BINGO! i got the reservation. I'm not saying that is the case now, but it would be worth a try if you would like to call and ask. good luck!

My notes say August 14 is last day of block-out. Haven't checked Disney site recently to see if they changed it. They pushed back the first 2 days to benefit the SPers.

I will have to call back tomorrow. CM was also surpraised it was all sold out...wonder if there is something glitching in thier system.

All I know is it didn't make sense.

There were a LOT of issues and glitches today. Ive read everything to no fastpasses to no ADRs to not even being able to book trips. My hypothesis is that they are updating the system or releasing new stuff (some speculate it is 2015 rates). Anyhow, seems too convenient for all of these systems to be unavailable on the same day. Check back tomorrow, hopefully they fix it.

But it's normal, right? You shut out AP folks till that last week. Tell me again how that will be a low crowd week, and not I sanity, squared.

As a former FL local, because most Floridians DO NOT go to theme parks in August when they have the option of going during any other time of the year - it's a weather thing.;) My FL friends equate doing inside activities July thru Sept the way we Northerners do indoor activities Dec thru Feb - to avoid hanging outside in the most extreme weather for the area.
They do come out more often for special events, though, so FSF might be a draw for some once the blackout is lifted. Hoping not to the point of insanity, we'll see - we'll be there!

Wait... So if you have an annual pass to WDW, there are days you CAN'T GO???? What?????

Sorry to hijack.,. I found that shocking!

Interesting....not sure if it means anything or not. The CM could book today yesterday but nothing on fri-mon of the last three weekends in agu.

Right. This is what I was indicating. While the FSF is not a huge crowd draw on a given day since it's every day (unlike SWW) it is going to see some crowd increases at the end in part because the locals who want to see it, who hold the Seasonal AP, will be able to go. While they may not normally go in Aug they'll have to if they want to see FSF since it won't be there come Sept or later.

Will it be insanity, no, I can't see that. But it will be a draw
