What has it been like on an EE morning for non EE guests?
The day we arrive I am thinking of going for the Frozen M&G right away but it is an EE morning and we will not have EE so what is the fp looking like for regular park opening on a Thursday?

Next questions
can WOC be canceled from rain? The day we plan on WOC says rain in the afternoon. Well we all know some times that can stretch out to be evening showers.
We are planing the show of WOC on Sunday, after the mad tea party, for a few hours.

For Race- what time is anything open for coffee or hot coco for family who are out supporting the racers?

I also saw a post about firework views and was trying to plan where to go to stake one out. For those of you have seen the holiday ones, is there a difference in where tink or dumbo, or the Santa? Fly's over the castle? Like i think the left side the hub would work for other firework shows but maybe not holiday?

Alright that's enough I think. Planing, Packing, getting excited. I can't wait.

I can answer the race part of your question. For the January and September races, nothing opens early at the resort or along the route just because there's a race. Stores that are open 24 hours will be open. I've stopped at 7-11 for donuts before volunteering. There was a Starbucks near my spot on the race route last year scheduled to open at 5am, and at 5:15 they still hadn't opened. There was a long line of volunteers who left empty handed because we had to be in position. I'd recommend bringing a travel mug and making coffee in the room if you have a coffee pot, or find a location to watch the race that's near a place that opens early. If you have a microwave, you could get something the night before and reheat it.

It does, but... I can also see where on some of the major streets the road closures probably make them lose more business than they spectators bring in. Plus the half marathons are on Sundays. If the 5K were on a Friday there might be more places that regularly open the early.

Not to mention that the event doesn't even provide coffee for the runners. Just a small snack box at the end of the race and some powerade and water bottles. Starbucks at DTD normally opens early for the race, and most off-property Starbucks open at 5am anyways.

WoC is still put on in the rain. It can be canceled in high winds though.

I wouldn't worry too much about the rain. We had our first heavy rain storms in months a week or two ago. "Rain" isn't usually more than drizzle otherwise.

As for the frozen meet and greet....we did it n a Thursday just two weeks ago. We did go in for early morning hour, but the fast passes didn't run out until about 10.15am I think. Early admission had us in at 9am. We went straight there at 9am and got our fast pass for 9.50-10.10am, and noticed they were counting up the people still in line and looking to cut it off just as we came out from our meet and greet. You would have to send a "runner" straight there when the park opens, to have a chance of getting a fp. Make sure they have everyone's tickets too, as they scan them in before they give you the fp.

This is the fifth race where I've volunteered and I can't remember them ever opening this early before. Maybe this will help the parking lot congestion if people want to arrive early for breakfast.
