Frozen in theaters

How long do you think Frozen will be out in the theaters? I need to get my girls there, but we've been so busy haven't had time!

I would say at least through the holiday season. Lots of families take in movies over school breaks.

Surely through the new year. It was number 1 at the box office last weekend, it's 2nd week in release. It won't go anywhere till at least early January.

Some kids movies stay in theaters for MONTHS! It all depends how popular it is. My guess is that it'll stick around for a couple months, til the end of January AT THE VERY LEAST!

We just saw it today and its one of the best pieces of animation that has come out of the traditional (non-pixar) Disney animation studio in a long time. It works on many levels, artistic, story and music especially.

Be sure to be there for the short that opens for it as well, and stay until the end of the credits for a special surprise.

I imagine for a while yet since its pretty popular. We have been trying to see it but its been sold out! I miss being able to say hey, lets go to a movie! Lately we have had to buy in advance. I may have to buy tomorrow for Sunday but I'm stressing the weather (we are supposed to get snow). So I imagine it will be around for a while yet since its still selling out! Everyone I talk to say its the best movie they have seen in a while!

I think it will be out a while. I think the biggest thing you should expect is that the music is not traditional Disney kid film music - it is Broadway-like.

Thank you for all the responses! Ok, I feel better. My biggest concern was that we are in a small market. It could possibly get bumped or something else. It we could always find it in one th bigger cities around us if we needed to. We WILL see it, just don't know when! Crazy busy time!

We saw it yesterday too! I loved it also! Plus I have 2 daughters so that made it extra special for me. The music was great!
