I just saw this posted regarding encore performances of Frozen Holiday Wish. Once per evening @ 7:00 on Jan. 3 and @ 6:30 January 4-12. Should be nice for all the Marathoners in the park!

Attractionsmagazine.com has the news blurb.

I think this is the beginning of making the castle lights and Frozen show permanent, and I've got a good idea how to do it.

No more taking down and putting up the dream lights each Sept/January, no one likes pictures of the castle with the crane in the background.

Obviously change the show from Frozen Holiday to Frozen Magic (isn't everything magic?). This allows the show to be all year.

It stays light until 8:00+, so how can the lights work? Two options: 1) Have the freezing occur between dusk and the first MSEP. This gives the out of not having the lights on all night, you turn the lights off when MSEP starts. 2) Have the freezing take after Wishes in place of a 2nd MSEP or only on EMH nights. This elimniates the cost of another parade and also draws even more people to the EMH nights (which I've stopped going to). You could even have it snow the rest of the night on main street to enhance the effect.

DW doesn't want the lights all year, thinks it should be for Christmas only. I sort of agree, but this idea keep the lights on for only a short amount of time each night. You still get shots of the castle at night either with or without the lights. Elsa froze Arendelle in summer, why not MK?

What do you think?
