OK...it will be DM, DH, me, DS21, DD19 & DS16. I am the ONLY one who has seen Frozen.
Our FPs for Frozen at EPCOT are in the evening...only time available.
The boys & DH looked at me like I was nuts that we need to stay around to hit Frozen.
I guess those who want to go can the the boys can find another option...
My question--will the guys like it?
(PS they have ridden most rides/seem most shows at WDW, except kiddie rides...they balk at Its a Small World & Beauty & the Beast also)

Great attraction.
Amazing animatronics, beautiful sets!

What odd form of teens/YA think something like 8p is late and they need to go to bed instead of snacking around World Showcase?

I read it as them not wanting to go back and go to bed so much as not caring to plan the day around staying long enough to see a Frozen attraction.

OP, keep in mind you get a say in this as well. If they don't want to go, let them go ride TT single rider while you (and maybe DH?) ride Frozen Ever After..

Me as a 22 year old female last time thought Frozen was a must-see. That being said now that i've seen it once, I would never go out of my way to ride again.

It's me, DW, DS14 and DS16. I'm making us hit epcot one morning solely to FP fea. They all think I'm crazy but they're coming with me and they're going to like it! :-)

I have a similar question. It's our first trip back to WDW in over 2 years and FEA wasn't built yet. I want to see it but dd11 and ds14 love test track. We will rope drop Soarin but I am bummed they put FEA and TT and S all on the same tier for FP! I really want to see FEA, dd will like it somewhat, but should I get a FP for it over TT?

Well...I stood in line for an hour for it. Well, okay, actually, I did it for the A/c. It's cool from a technology standpoint but if you aren't a design geek and you aren't a Frozen fan, I wouldn't bother. So I can see where your family is coming from.

I am a design geek, so I probably would ride it again, but only for that reason and I wouldn't waste a fp on it. It's no soaring or test track.

I don't think they'll like the ride- it's unimpressive. And I'm even a fan of the Frozen movie, & I like It's a Small World. But FEA is just not that great.

We're doing Epcot twice in June and I FP FEA both days. We always do FW in the morning so the plan is to beeline to TT both days and then wait for Soarin straight up. I've heard Soaring line has gotten better. FEA seemed like it would be the longer wait.

I don't like to be negative on here, but I was not impressed with the Frozen ride - and I got very wet on it. If a teen or pre-teen told me in advance that he/she did not want to do that ride, I definitely would not take them on it because I think the response would be, "That was lame."

While FEA isn't a life altering attraction I don't see why the rest of the fam can't just go on a 3 minute ride that mom wants to hit. Sometimes it's those goofy attractions that we have the most fun on and relive years after the trip is over.

That said, if it's a matter of keeping the peace with teens I agree with pps. Allow them to take off to TT or the likes while you go on FEA.

We're in a similar situation -- DDs a little younger than your crew (12, 14, & 17), but were past the age of being obsessed with it when it came out. Liked it fine, but not a favorite. Based on reviews and how much we all enjoy Soarin' & TT, we're doing it once and no planning to go back even though we will be at Epcot 5-6 times during the course of our trip. Everyone was fine with my suggestion that we go once to experience it, but if I had tried to get them to give up a second Tier 1 FP+ instead of TT or Soarin', they would definitely have balked.
PS - This is the first I've heard about getting wet on FEA! Glad to know ahead it might happen!

Wait said 60 minutes, me, my wife and DS12 (grumbling) decided to wait it out. It ended up only being about 45 minutes when a CM asked for a party of three. We had just come out of the house with the sauna and were whisked to the front of the line. Thank You Disney magic.
My son was amazed at Olaf "walking" and kept talking about it the rest of the evening. He also said that Anna and Elsa's faces were "freaky". I thought FEA was very well done for being an overlay of a previous attraction. Now, if we could bring Future World back to its former glory....

So mixed reviews here...I want to do it just because we haven't before!
EPCOT is our fav park to killing time is no issue.
It is day 7 of our park days & my guess is either they will be DONE & need a break or begin to be melancholic that the trip is nearing the end & they want to soak up the magic.
They are usually pretty agreeable people & would indulge me if it is important. But long days can occasionally bring some grumpys...
Additionally, it sets us up to see Illuminations. We have NEVER seen any evening show as a family (we are rope droppers...)--DD & I saw Wished when we came with dance team. Oh, we might have seen Wishes in the distance from POP...
Will let you know!
(PS we never seem to mind getting wet in FL in the summer--we have all packed lots of drifit!)

I have 2DS(18, 21) that have seen bits of frozen here and there if passing thru the room while I am watching but that is it. DH has no clue. I had them go with me in March due to being given a free FP for it. They thought it was cute, as did I. But they definitely would not chose it over TT or Soarin', or mission space. Not even close. For them it's just another cute boat ride, take it or leave it .

I would let your kids do another attraction for sure. Or go get some school bread or other treats while you ride.

I liked it better before it became Frozen. my DS12 had no love for it last time and will have no patience for it on our next trip. Can you get them a different fast pass for the same time as yours?

We did FEA right before Illuminations during F & W festival. Wait time said 60 minutes but it was more like 35. Maybe don't waste the FP and try to get on at the end of the night? I love all Disney rides and I thought the ride was okay. The concept/characters are cool but I feel like there's a lot of empty space throughout the ride. (I know this isn't what the thread is about, but just wanted to throw in my 2 cents!)

If they go at least they can say they been there, done that! If not, let it go (pun intended)! Have fun regardless! :)
