Even with 3 meeting rooms, the throughput for this probably won't equal the ride's.

I don't know. If you think back to what the throughput was at the Circus Tent back in the days of Toon Town (which was probably smaller than the new Frozen M&G area), and then you think back to how painfully slow the Maelstrom line moved, I'll bet that the M&G moved faster. Or it was close. Granted, this is just guesswork based on past recollections of Things No Longer Seen At Wald Disney World.

I waited in that line when the movie first came out A/E were in that little area in Norway. I waited close to 1 hour which in the grand scheme of things wasn't that bad. I am upset about Malestrom but that ship has sailed and I have to agree with some PP's because look at history there are certain attractions that sustain throughout the years....and those that don't. I hope with all that they put into Froway it lasts....on another note about FP my DD(9) loves Frozen but would rather go on TT and Soarin....either way it makes for 2 Epcot days

They staffed (usually) more than 1 room in the MK and still needed FP.

There will be 3 A/E's meeting in 3 separate rooms?

Right now they have 2 M&G rooms, so the 3rd room would help with the lines. Add the interest in seeing the house and that the girls are expected to be wearing the summer dresses .... I think this spot will be busy. Hopefully they thought forward and made this building so they could offer up a selection of characters like moving Olaf there or "friends of Anna & Elsa" like they do at FTH should interest dwindle. I don't think that will be for a long time.

I don't believe there will be any connection with the ride and the characters via FP+ or lines. They can each stand on their own and will have many guests who are only interested in one. Epcot needs more options not bundled ones.

I think Akershus is going to become even more popular place to eat for pre-park ADRs, LOL...At least this is my plan...I mean usually we have a DAS bc my older son is on the spectrum but we always have a plan B in case that falls through...I also only like to use the DAS if I have to...If I can work around not having to use my DAS by getting an early ADR for Akershus which gets us into the stand by queue faster for the new frozen ride I will certainly do that. I am waiting patiently waiting to see how they end up doing the Meet & Greet though...I am wondering if it will be separate from the ride or if you will come off the ride and end up in the meet & greet hall...It will be interesting to see how this all plays out

HopperFan, in another Frozen thread, @Berlioz70 confirmed the sisters will be wearing their same attire as they have been wearing in MK.

So, you'll be in line to see the house. I believe that will be of great interest to see what they've done theming-wise.

Let's face it, after June 2016. There will be 4 things (FEA, A&E, Soarin, TT) worth Fastpassing in Epcot. And they will all be Tier 1.

FWIW I wouldn't want a bundled system.

I have zero interest in meet and greets in general (I don't have any children and I personally don't want to wait in line for autographs myself [I have a couple from when I was a kid before the whole Meet and Greet thing became what you had to do] though I'm not saying other adults don't-hey we're all kids inside right?). I would like to ride the new ride and wouldn't want to be counted in their daily expected capacity of a meet and greet and wouldn't want to worry about exiting easily enough after I'm done with the ride.

Though yes this does mean a disadvantage to parents who want to do both and have limited time available at Epcot.

I personally don't see how they couldn't have Frozen, Soarin' and Test Track all as Tier 1. They are all so incredible popular (even if I'm getting real tired of Frozen-loved the movie but it's overkill now IMO but remember I don't have any children right now so I'm a bit biased). I think even if Epcot had more attractions that gardnered people's attention they all still would warrant a Tier 1. The tiers themselves have pros and cons and the con here is multiple really popular rides that without a FP+ (from what I've heard)=a long wait unless you can go at RD or at the very end of the evening.

I think if they did decide to do a bundled deal then they would also perhaps work in an "escape" door sort of speak for people that don't want to do the M&G and people that just want to do the ride. Since I heard they are doing 3 M&G rooms I think the best plan of action is to have 1 room for ride goers that the ride will filter into it, 1 room for people that just want to do the M&G and not the ride (this would be FP people), and then 1 line for stand by queue for people without a FP for either the ride or the M&G (cause lets face it all the Frozen stuff is going to be Tier 1). Since all the Frozen stuff are going to be Tier 1 and be in that Tier with Soarin and TT, not everyone has time to devote 3 days to Epcot. Although I really don't know how this will all play out...its getting close to June (but as pp states they are having some technical issues)...I am patiently waiting to hear how it will all play out (including how somerhouse filters out with 3 M&G rooms)

Or perhaps there will be an upcharge morning event that gets you Frozen access and then you can use your Tier 1 FP for Soarin or TT.

Especially given that they have a problem with the MK staying way more crowded than the other parks. It's just too easy to now nudge Epcot into becoming a 2 day park for people.

I do see where you are coming from but a bundled deal on this..I'm not sure how it will work. I mean who knows with Disney these days but how are they going to account for those just going on the ride and those just going to the Meet and Greets as far as FP+ numbers so they know approximately how many FP's to allocate. I wouldn't want them to reduce the number of FP's available if they did bundle for those wanting the Meet and Greets if I'm that person who just wants to ride the ride multiple times..hopefully that makes sense;I know you can't choose one ride multiple times for your FPs but I'm more meaning capacity per hour as you still have to account for SB riders.

I certaintly understand not being able to devote more than one day at a place although MK is generally advised to take 2 days already due to the number of attractions..this is where having a hopper pass once more becomes advantageous. You can see I haven't been since 2011 (based on my earlier comment) but from what I read on all sorts of places when they introduced FP+ and made it so you had to pre-pick 3 at one park and you couldn't pick your 4th (if you even got it) until you were actually physically in the park it made hoppers largely useless in regards to wanting to utilize the FP+ system.

If you had park hoppers in this case if they didn't bundle Frozen then you have more flexibility in how you decide to use your FPs especially now that you can pick 1, 2 or 3 FPs instead of mandated at 3. I know with kids in tow going from park to park when you consider the time spent doesn't always work out though.

I completely agree though that if all Frozen stuff are Tier 1's it will def change the touring game if you want to do all that they have to offer. I'm also awaiting how it all pans out..these days there's no predicting Disney and their "logic"

Well, on the positive side, this bit of news means we (meaning my family) don't have to bother meeting the sisters again. Had they been in their summer dresses, we would have had tough choices to make.

It also indicates FP will open for FEA tomorrow. I found it interesting (although maybe an oversight?) that they didn't mention FP for the sisters. Although I suppose that could mean the sisters might not be ready to go the same day?

They did confirm that the Norway pavilion will open at 9 AM every day.
