The animatronics look stunning! But was that it? Is there a plot to Frozen Ever After? Or is it meant to look like: "here is Olaf and here are Anna and Kristof and there is Elsa and oh yes Marshmallow. Now... Bye!"
This just dawned on me. This will prove to be a very popular ride for some time. Sadly it is in world showcase and won't open until most days at 11am and also again closes at 9pm most nights even during busy times.
I wonder of this will cause a change to hours.
Also if breakfast priority seating wasn't already hard enough to get. Imagine now.

It looks amazing! I can tell this is going to be one of those rides immersive rides that I crave the atmosphere for when I'm back home. (POTC, Peter Pan, etc) Something about the lighting effects and the mist. Can't wait!
At least Forbidden Journey had a novel ride mechanism. We'll see what the reaction is once more people have seen it over the next 4-6 weeks. I never put a huge amount of stock in first day reactions.
Will have to dig further but a friend said his (growing up) friend's Dad was one of the painters and casually says "oh yeah my friends face is on the mural" .......... I always laugh when people talk about the boy in the mural.
Anyway ...
I watched the whole ride ..............
- I like how they did the queue line
- I love the animatronics
- I thought Elsa was unbelievably fluid and looked so real for an animatronic
- It really works for having the boat going backwards where it does
- I like how it's dark and the colors/lighting used
- Was not thrilled at how barren some the sets looked, like they just painted the floor and walls and plopped a character out there.
- I HATE the SCREENS!!!!!! and their cheap look. PLEASE DISNEY DON'T GO ALL UNIVERSAL ON US.
