Frozen ever after and soarin in same tier

So, I am obviously going to have to choice one over the other when making our initial fast pass selections but my question is which one should I take FP for and which one can be left for standby or even 4th FP ?

Should I aim for rope drop for anyone of them ?

We are wanting to do both and are in Epcot just for a day in June.

If it were me, I'd do the FP for Frozen Ever After and then try for Soarin' on either a 4th FP or just go ride it later at night b/c that's when the wait times are shorter.

FP FEA. RD Soarin'. The third theatre makes Soarin' much more manageable, especially early and late.

Also............getting a FP for FEA gives you a "rain check" to ride it later in the day at your convenience in case FEA breaks down.
It is a total bummer to wait in the standby line and then have it break down with an unknown repair time.

We did FEA FP and will RD Soarin (or go at night).

Ok so by majority advice i will try fp for FEA

Now if I get a pre park opening breakfast at akerhus would you do Soarin or anna elsa meet at rope drop ? I am reading up that anna and elsa have much shorter standby lines than soarin throughtout the day on average

I also like to FP rides that have lines that are a pill. If FEA is super long, you may be standing outside in the heat. I think Soarin is a more comfortable wait. If you get an early breakfast at Garden Grill, you could be first in line. We did that and after Soarin went straight to Test Track without too much of a wait.

Soarin easily. The waits for Anna and Elsa are minimal all throughout the day.

And yes definitely FP FEA. It's a constant 75+ min wait. Soarin is no walk on but most of the times you can find it with a shorter wait than Frozen, usually around 40-50 min

Another vote for FP FEA - and make that FP as early in the day as you can so you have all day to keep trying at it when it is closed during your FP hour.

I would rope drop Soarin, Fast Pass FEA.

I would also shoot for a 4th FP for Soarin

Definitely do FP+ for FEA. It breaks down so much that you don't want to be in line for an hour only to have it go down on you. If it breaks down during your FP+ window, they will allow you to go back at any time for the remainder of the day. Our wait for Soarin' was estimated at 75 mins and it was almost exactly that. I was hoping the wait times were an overestimate but no luck. It was worth it though as we had not seen this new film yet.
