Frozen (Elsa/Anna) meet and greet at THE PRINCESS HALL WDW

I just got a fp for A&E and also for the 7DMT for Saturday, got it this morning, just for one person though. It's going to be myself and DD13, I'm also checking later today and tomorrow to see if something opens up so I can join her.

Dumb question, even though you only got one fastpass, you can still take DD into the Hall and wait in line with her, correct?

Nope, everyone in the group who wants to enter must have his or her own FP (except those younger than 3).

Oh crap, I don't want a photo with either but DD wont stand in line alone. :headache:

You don't need to take your photo with them, but you must have a FP to enter the queue with your child. Determining at the character who in a group did and did not have a FP when they entered the queue (and therefore who can and cannot actually "meet" the character) is impossible for the CMs to determine and I guarantee you would lead to abuse.

Yes I figured slim odds and we don't get the 30 day window as we buy our tickets when we get down (in case something happens and the trip is cancelled we aren't out the money - I am just not in the income bracket where we can chance so much should something go wrong). I will cross my fingers and toes but any tips for people just hoping to get there early, "run" (as fast as allowed at rope drop) to get a place in line with a not-4plus-hour-line? Any little bit helps. Also, if anyone has been there recently and an update what it's like nowadays there (just how crazy) that would be good. We'll be there Aug 8-23 (well in Orlando anyhow). THANKS!

As long as you don't actually use a day to activate the passes, I believe they do not expire. The 14 day window kicks in once the passes are actually used so if something happens and you have to cancel or postpone your trip you can use the passes for the next trip. Another option would be to purchase thru UT which does allow you to return them if you end up cancelling. If you wait to buy until you get there I think you will find your FP+ options very limited especially going in Aug.
