Frozen Dining Package for lunch at DCA

My family is heading to Disneyland next week. We booked an 11:30am lunch at Cathay Circle for the Frozen Dining Package.

I'm assuming they give us some kind of paper ticket after our meal to see the show.

Can we attend any show that day after the dining package, or it assigned to a particular showing?

Also, what exactly does the dining package entitle us to now? It says there is a special seating section. But, does it also include the ability to not have to wait in line forever to get into the show?

I haven't done it, but I was eating at Carthay Circle the other week and overheard the server explaining it to another couple. You go in through a different entrance that is on the opposite side that the masses go in. I think you are supposed to be at the theatre a half hour before the show, while other people wait in line for an hour or more. They usually open the house around 20 minutes before the show. There is not a special seating section, you can pick any seats in the house that you want, because you are the first group into the theatre.

I can't answer the question about the show time - when we were at Carthay there was only one more show that day so they only had one choice.

You also get a pretty cool lanyard and pin that I really want.

My mom and I just did it and loved it

You get a special lanyard after your meal and go through a separate entrance for the 3:30 show. You do get to pick your seats first but you only have a couple minutes before they start letting everyone in, so you still gotta move fast!

The food was delicious! We got the cutest Olaf dessert thing. The show was great. Much more enjoyable than the last time I saw it.

We had the same experience as the previous poster. It is a wonderful experience. You go to the separate door at the time they tell you. No need to get the earlier and you get to pick your seats. Its very few people doing it so it does feel very VIP. Lunch is a ton of food. You'd be fine to skip breakfast!
