I heard the other day that there is a price you can pay ( no one seemed to know how much it was) That gets you in to the front of every line at Disney. I had never heard of this before. At first I thought that they were wrong and didn't know what they were talking about but then two other people also said they had heard of it.
Not that I'm looking to do this. We are paying enough as it is. I just wondered if anyone else had ever heard of it or used it.

Nope, haven't ever heard of this at WDW. They have a FastPass system that is free. Universal has front of the line passes for a fee.

No front of the line at WDW. Even when using the VIP tours they use the fast passes.

Of course, celebrities get special escort through the park, and I'd bet they pay a pretty penny for that - unless WDW gives them free assistance just to keep them from causing a ruckus with a mob scene. They get ushered in through exits, etc, to avoid being mobbed. I'm sure the average millionaire could pay for the same service, LOL!

Maybe that is it.... maybe it's for those celebrities etc....
One person did say they thought it could be as much as a few hundred $$
I just had never heard of it before... fast pass yes... the system they have at Universal yes.... but nothing like this.

several years ago we had a "front of the line" pass for the Test Track. THis was the year before fast pass. THey gave out front of the line passes when you were severely inconvenienced or had the ride malfunction on you multiple times. It was also the first year of the test track and it was breaking down a lot. Our first time on the Test Track... the ride stopped three times. At that time we got to stay in the car and go round one more time.

At other times during that visit, they would give front of the line passes to the folks that were stopped mid ride, when they knew it would be several hours before they got it running again. I believe it was one of these folks that gave the 2 passes to my husband during the day as we wandered through EPCOT.....

Now that they have fast pass they don't need front of the line passes.

The pass mentioned above is about the size of a Fast Pass and is called a "re-entry pass". It which works the same way except there is no specific time for using it. They may be given out to for various other reasons besides ride breakdowns on a rare individual basis.

I received one such pass for Test Track after going on a behind the scenes tour (extra cost) at Epcot a few years ago. I used it on a visit about a year later, having chickened out the first time.

There are VIP Areas for attractions that have corporate sponsors. If you are a VIP for that company (an executive) or a VIP for one of the other companies that sponsor WDW Attractions (like GM, Coca-Cola, etc..) then you have access to "front of the line" at those attractions thru the VIP lounges. These can't be bought but are provided as a courtesy between the sponsors.

For test track to use the VIP lounge and get front of the line passes you only need to work for GM. You don't have to be an executive etc. just bring your work id with you and you can go thru the side door, hold your id up to the camera & they will instruct you as to what to do to get to the lounge, it is open M-F i believe 9-5. any time after that & on the weekends go thru the gift shop to where the vehicles are displayed and sign up at the desk on the left, they will give you your passes.
