Front of the Line on Check-In Day?

If you check in early in the morning (8-9 am-ish) do you have front of the line privileges for that day? Do you also have FOL privileges on your check-out day? We are trying to decide if we can stay at Nick Hotel one night and then transfer over to a Universal Hotel onsite for FOL privileges or if we need to just stay at Universal for both nights.

Thank you both so much for your replies! The younger kids want to stay at Nick Hotel while the older ones prefer staying onsite and I, as usual, am just trying to cram in way too much! LOL

It looks like since our flight comes in early, we can stay at Nick the 1st day/night and just hang out there and then transfer onsite the next morning.
