From WDW To DL With Love - January 06, 2011

Good news, our updated cruise confirmation showed up in the mail today, and the boat is now officially going through the Panama Canal. We are however still going to Punta Arenas instead of Puntarenas.

I got mine from rebooking on the Magic last week. It also showed the Canal. Think someones head rolled over that one?

Checking in too. Had a much deserved day off and I'm ahead (SHOCK) on my papers for school. I actually get a weekend off. Mom and I are doing a cheese thing at Epcot tomorrow while Jeff and Jack get to run around Epcot...

It's been one of those weeks where LIFE got in the way of my Disney Dream. Missed the live announcement etc. just looking at DCL and reading everyone's comments. DH and I were planning on going to WDW before the cruise. But now, should we go over a day earlier to Port Canaveral. What would be the consensus.

Am I nuts to spend New Years Eve at the parks?

DH and oldest son are flying to Australia in six days. I am flying down to Disneyland to spend five days at the mouse. Anyone wanna meet up say Nov. 8-10.

. I am flying down to Disneyland to spend five days at the mouse. Anyone wanna meet up say Nov. 8-10.

We'll be leaving the morning of the 8th, after just spending one day there Saturday for my birthday.

FYI....There WILL be fireworks Fri/Sat/Sun nights. They will be doing the "Remember the Dream" fireworks for just those three nights. Previously there were not any scheduled as the week before ends the Halloween show and they were going to have down time between then and the Christmas show. They must have heard me whinning all they was across the Sonoran desert!

Hi Everyone!! Even though they announced the Dream and I said I want to go on it. My DH has not brought up the subject of not going on the PC. YEAH!!! He is just not sure he wants to go on the Dream.

Had a great time this morning at Food and Wine - went to the cheese tasting. Wonderful cheese and wonderful wine. Had a great Bordeaux blend (54% Merlot - thought that would ruin the Bordeaux and it didn't!).
I really wish they would do a high end cheese seminar onboard...

We confirmed our cruise on the Wonder yesterday! We live in Fl so we will drive to PC and then fly SW home. We will also stay at DL too have to wait until June for that. I have read 90 pages so far!

Isn't food and wine the best. I love that event. Just trying thing from all of the countries. The only thing I hate about it is that it is very easy to break your bank on food and wine. Well just about time to have a bite before my first day at work since Oct. 13. Honestly lookng forward to going back. Ifvanyone will be at WDW Dec 8-11 let me know. Also for those going to Disneyland next weekend, it should be very crowded as it is a holiday weekend.

Grey misty day in the north east. We made it to Newark, DE, with a stop at Campmor and another at Winterthur Gardens. Tonight, dinner at Ali Baba. YUM.

I hate my computer sometimes. I get a whole message typed then it backs up to the last screen. Uggh! Happy Halloween everyone. Just got back from a few days in Las Vegas and freezing our butts off. Didnt think to pack jackets or long sleeves so we had to hit up the thrift store. Then I found the Disney outlet and bought another jacket, warm jammies and assorted stuff I didnt need, but had to have. Good to be home. DH has an angiogram on Monday so wish us luck. This is his 3rd, he already has 3 stents so might be getting another one.
