I'm with you there Alan. Anything less than a 7 is too short for us. It looks like we shall eagerly await news of the Fantasy. Are you back yet? Sorry haven't had time to scroll through the pages!

I like the Dream but is anyone else feeling like it just lacks something? I know it must be hard trying to balance the old world charm of the art deco versus trying to keep up with the new/whiz fandangled bells & whistles of the megalithic ships, but I don't know...I expected a little more? Of what exactly, i am not sure.

I think I'll shut up now...

I bet you a night of drinks one 7 day is cheeper. No Dream for me until it does at least a 7 night.

I'm not taking that bet! I didn't say it would be cheap, I was just suggesting options.

Almost home. About to board my third flight of the day. Personaly I like the Dream. I really want to go on her. I just need it to be at least a 7 night.

Have a safe flight home! Was meant to ask, what's suppose to happen on the 6 Jan that got everyone booking rooms? Is it still happening? I completely missed what was going on.

Well now that the anoucment has been made, and even though the Dream won't be taking paying passengers until 1/26, DCL wants to do a press event with all three ships at PC. Not sure how they will pull it off given the Magics schedual but we shal see.

Anyone planning to jump ship and sail the Dream instead?

NO. And now, we may now be interested in doing the Los Angeles -> Vancouver repo as well (April 2011), and visit friends in the San Francisco Bay Area!

It looks like we are just a RePo kind of family now... :goodvibes

I am glad I saw the Dream thing but there is NO WAY I am giving up the Wonder for that. I love the Water Slide but the rest of the ship is too modern for my liking. The inside cabin thing looks cool. Will confirm the Wonder in the am.

Good Morning Everyone.

Shushh, my Aussie friend said you should try the Sidney Flight Center. (I think it's a travel agency). She feels that with that many people you should be getting a group rate and a specialist travel agency should be able to help you get it.

Alan, five nighters aren't bad - I prefer 7 too, but we took the 5 night 'shoulda been a double dip' last September, and it was really quite pleasant.

Morning, Lynne - although I guess it's about mid day there, isn't it?

HAve a great day, everyone!

I think the only reason that I'd end up doing the 5 nighter is because I live down here. If I had to fly, it would probably be too much of a pain.

I wonder if my son will ever realize how blessed he is to live down here and that Disney World isn't the thing that people do every other week.

I just can't get excied about 3/4 night cruises any more....

You can always do b2b...or b2b2b.

OK...I've designed my DREAM cruise...a b2b2b...for the holidays 2011:

4 night 12/22 & 3 night 12/26 & 5 night 12/29

Christmas day at sea, NY eve followed by a sea day. I'd get off on one of the Nassau stops, the remainder stay on board. This would only be fun if one had the SAME stateroom for all three legs (no packing up and moving!)

Actually, I'm kind of surprised they didn't do some special itineraries for the holidays (like two 6 day cruises). :confused3

Just popped in to say Hi! With a newborn and a 55 hour work week there is no way I will catch up!!

I bet it costs more than a 7 night. I can wait. It would be nice to go on it in it's first year, but cost vs nights I am sure will not look good. I bet it will cost more per night than what I am paying minus tax for this cruise.

Don't try yet. Everything now is just basic chit chat and folks getting to know each other. Once the actual planning starts, I will try and keep a digest going on my site so folks can find things easier. Now, that doesn't mean you can't jump in for a little bit to say hi :)

Hello everyone!!
I hope you all are having a great day!!!! The weekend is here!!!:woohoo:

I have a question.
Has there been a decision on a graphic for our group?? Is there going to be a vote? I would love to put whatever graphic is decided in my siggy.

a poll will be forthcoming it was mentioned a few pages back. I just hope it's not while we're cruising - I don't want to miss it!
