I counted the days and there are 15 - isn't that what it's supposed to be? Maybe they're considering it a sea day, because we don't stop and get off?

Actually it is supposed to be 15 nights and there are only 14. Wednesday has been left out entirely. OOPs. Someone made a ****oo.:rotfl:

I can't believe that they forgot the Panama Canal but they forgot the whole day. :confused3 I will have to check my itinerary closer. Is the ship just disappearing that day? Maybe we should rename the cruise to the disappearing ship cruise? :lmao:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Anyone else notice something is missing?

Maybe, like Peter Pan's ship, we'll be flying over Panama and they only count days that the ship is actually in the water.

Don't count Friday/Los Angeles. That's the day that we'll sadly :sad1: be disembarking.

Hi, My name is Mike, I'll be in cabin 6321, and I have late dining.
Very excited about going.

:welcome: Mike! You are right around the corner from us - well, two corners I guess as we are in 6511. You will love the location, super quiet and easy to get up to the pool or down to dining and the adult areas.

I know you are just joking, but the ship never leaves the water in the canal. I was thinking it could have been left out for one of two reasons. The first is wecare just going to beam to the other side and not go through so DCL will not have to pay another record fee for the transit. The second is maybe more realistic, by leaving off a day maybe they are saving paper. By putting in the one extra day might have caused them to mail out two sheets inseted of one. Honest I have no clue, but it is funny none the less.

Well we have decided to upgrade already so we're now in cabin 6108 and have moved to early dining. This will allow us to sit on the verandah while the kids nap. Hopefully it will be worth the extra cost.

Just wanted to sign in, I have read the entire thread, so now I am up to date :thumbsup2

Tomorrow I will come back with our details and have you add us "officially" to the list of Panama cruisers :goodvibes

Hey I'm new to the dis boards. We were thinking the same thing about sitting on the balcony watching the days go by. Should be worth every penny spent and every extra hour worked.
It's my wife my son(4) at sailing and my parents.
Hello everyone.

Hello everyone.

The balcony is worth it! It is relaxing to get a chance to "get away" and yet have a place to relax. Especially if you have kids who nap. We especially loved our balcony on the 2008 PC since after spending a few hours up on deck to watch the locks, it was nice to be able to sit on the balcony and watch everything. Granted, you had a side view instead of a forward vew but it was wonderful.

It amazed me how exhausted I was by the end of PC day..it was thrilling but long :)

Hello everyone.

Hello and welcome to the boards and our little cruise thread! Have you booked yet or are you getting ready for tomorrow? Once you book please PM me with your info and I'll add you to the first post. Welcome aboard!

I don't think you'll regret it...especially at nap time!

I did the 08 WBPC in my little Cat 11 cave, and while I loved a quiet place to go back to, I really wanted to enjoy relaxing verandah views this time.

GOOD LUCK to everyone booking tomorrow. :wizard: Just remember, DO NOT HANG UP. When I called in on Monday there was a very long silence but eventually I hear the recording and was given my wait time. Also, for CC members, don't forget that there is a special CC number to call (800) 449-3380. Might be easier to get through on that since some people trying to book will not be CC members at all.

Hoping to see many more join this thread tomorrow and let the official planning begin!

Also you can book online tomorrow, a luxurly we did not have Monday. I would have the phone ready, but be on line. It will go faster that way. Only thing is I am not sure you can do the hold online. I think you must pay the deposit.

Good luck to all trying to book a room tomorrow. We will be keeping our fingers crossed for all of you. pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust: Hope this helps.

Carol and Doug

Hi all,
I booked this cruise when I was on the Magic last week! I was also on the WBPC last year (2008). I'll be traveling solo, in 6011, and have late dining.

Hi Carol (and Doug)! Glad we'll be cruising together again!:yay:

Well my mom has her own room if that counts. I got my confirmation in the mail today. Anyone else notice something is missing?

Just part of the Disney magic (or is it wonder)? Disney has made special arrangements to move the international date line to Panama for the period of the transit. So we lose a day.
I believe the sun will be rising from the West and setting to the East that day as well. :rolleyes1

It is so cool to see people who were on the Westbound last year. Hopefully this time I can get to know you guys.
