When is the snow going to stop??

Global warming? coldest december for 30 years ors something I just heard on the news.
The horses got another big bale of hay in field,they are so greedy, we call it the buffhay.

OK - back to page one for us!

Have a good evening everyone. I am going to take my NyQuil and head off to bed - I will get rid of this cold - I WILL!

I have a head cold too. Dont know if it due to the excitement of the cruise being only a year away, or due to the drugs incapacitating my brain. But, I went out today and got a disney tatoo. It's a small Mickey head with a hibiscus in the center and vines with leaves on both sides of the mickey head. Shades of pink, purple, green and blues. I LOVE IT! It is on my foot and I am thrilled. When I figure out how to post a pic I will. Going to bed early my head is sooooo stuffed up.

We put all the holiday stuff away today. We leave Friday for Port Canaveral for the Carnival Dream! Oh so can't wait! It is going to be in the 20's here tonight! I just hope I can stay focused on work tomorow and Wednesday. Then we leave Fri. I hope the weather will be nice.

You lucky thing, Im going skiing in 2 weeks and am sick of the site of snow!
Were not used to it in scotland.

I am SO with you on that snow issue - and I have at least another 4 months of it. NOT my cup of tea. And today we have freezing drizzle, don't like that much either - makes for some pretty scary driving.

Some stores will do puzzles out of pictures. Get a picture of Wonder and make a puzzle picture. I have just one day left to work which is tomorow and then vacation time!

Well today marks the one year mark for me. I know I will be starting my vacation one year from today, or I will be spending my only day in the parks one year from today. That part has not yet been decided on, but will be soon as I want to book my room at my 11 month window. As far as the weather goes. No complaints. It is 72 here right now. Way better than at WDW were it is down right cold for them. My friend who works for DCL said it may snow on Thursday. Right now there is a chance of rain and the overnight low is going to be 28. Ouch. Glad I am not there.

We will have 1 year as well. We will fly down on Wednesday we will stay at Kidani our home resort. We will also use DCL transport to get to the pier. Just want a stress free vacation! The am of the cruise have a massage. I hope the DCL will pick up at KV next year.

Just under a year for us..we will be going out the 3rd or the 4th...haven't quite decided... since we do not have to add days on at the end for DLR or travel home..we decided to add them upfront.

Difficult to believe that we are almost exactly a year away!

Yay! My countdown badge finally says 365 days!!! Let the planning begin! Still no stateroom # assigned. This is driving me crazy. Thinking of calling and just jumping up a category so I can have my room#. I have signs and whatnot to make!!

We are driving down to LAX area on the 4th staying at Crowne Plaza I think, flying to MCO on the 5th, and cruising on the 6th!!

For the peeps looking for lanyards - I was at Michaels yesterday and they have their $1 sale bins at the front of the store - everything was .30 - they had a few lanyards in there. FWIW I can go back and look again if you would like me to.

Happy One Year From Today we will be cruising day! Just about now we will have finished lunch and we should be in our cabins unpacking. Bring it on!

Just eating lunch at my desk and checking in - not much to report. Weather stinks (so what else is new from me). We are heading over to DS and DDIL's for dinner this evening and then youngest DS heads back to college tomorrow. We did manage to get the tree down yesterday but I still have garland on the mantle that needs put away, providing I can remember to get a tote to put it/them in. I collect Santas and have a tendency to leave those up a bit longer, I don't get to see them much unless I do that and so long as we have snow on the ground, I think it is OK.

Love the puppies! I cruise on Carnival Dream Sat and still have no cabin! Normally it would drive me crazy but I just thankful to be off of work for 9 days. I will also get to see the Magic too!

I am very excited looking forward to this cruise, and thought it might be interesting to check the weather this year on the same dates that we would be in each of the ports next year..... if anyone else is technically better at doing this than I?

For instance, what is the weather today in Port Canaveral, then tomorrow in Castaway Cay, then a few days from now in Aruba, etc.? I'm hoping it will give me an idea of what to expect next year, and help me decide how to pack for the different weather we might encounter during the cruise.

I hope y'all enjoy the anticipation as much as I do!

Excellent idea although, after looking at Cocoa Beach it it's balmy 48.5 degrees right now under partly cloudy skies. Maybe I don't want to know but, there you are, that is what they have. I am not sure I know how to get the CC weather for tomorrow although somehow, somewhere, I used to know that.

I don't know that technically I'm better at it but I'll be happy to do it! I'll be back with the weather report...

Hello Cruisers....

For our departure today...we will have a high of 46 degrees today. Tonight, the low should be 33 but that won't bother us..we will be warm with happy thoughts of the cruise ahead.

We will be leaving for Castaway Cay at 4:00 P.M. EST We will be traveling 225nautical miles to beautiful Castaway Cay... enjoy your evening!
